Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah Sistem Informasi Lowongan Kerja Berbasis Web dibutuhkan dalam proses rekrutmen suatu perusahaan/instansi/lembaga. Hasil evaluasi diharapkan dapat membantu Unit Pengembangan Karir dan Kewirausahaan Universitas Brawijaya (UPKK UB) dalam menjalankan salah satu program kerjanya yaitu peningkatan kinerja dan pengembangan sistem UPKK. Metode evaluasi menggunakan pendekatan Utility System. Dimensi yang dievaluasi adalah dimensi layanan di mana keluaran (output) sistem menentukan respon terhadap satu kejadian. Evaluasi implementasi sistem juga menggunakan teori Kriteria Sistem Informasi Lowongan Kerja Berbasis Web dari Prameswara & Christianti (2013) untuk menilai implementasi sistem informasi di UPKK UB berdasarkan kriteria yang ditentukan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi yang dilakukan di wilayah penelitian dan website UPKK UB; wawancara pada pihak internal (Operator, Koordinator Tata Usaha, dan Bagian Pemasaran) dan pihak eksternal (pengunjung atau pelamar yang menggunakan website UPKK UB); dan dokumentasi dengan mengumpulkan dokumen-dokumen internal dari UPKK UB, data foto, dan dokumentasi website. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Analisis data berdasarkan tahapan analisis yang dikemukakan oleh Cresswell (2013) yang terdiri dari tahap-tahap: persiapan data, membaca data, koding data, deskripsi data, penyajian data, dan interpretasi data. Menggunakan Pendekatan Utility System, diketahui bahwa output Sistem Informasi Lowongan Kerja Berbasis Web sudah digunakan secara efektif. Laporan-laporan diserahkan pada pihak yang seharusnya menerima; laporanlaporan dibuat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pihak pengambil keputusan; area distribusi laporan-laporan jelas yaitu di wilayah Universitas Brawijaya; laporanlaporan mudah diubah ke bentuk lain sesuai kebutuhan dan mudah disimpan baik di komputer maupun lemari arsip; ada disiplin waktu penyerahan laporan; dan laporan digunakan untuk merencanakan kegiatan selanjutnya, membuat program kerja selanjutnya, dan masukan untuk peningkatan selanjutnya. Menggunakan teori kriteria Sistem Informasi Lowongan Kerja Berbasis Web menurut Prameswara dan Christianti (2013), diketahui bahwa ada satu kriteria yang belum dipenuhi oleh Sistem Informasi Lowongan Kerja Berbasis Web di UPKK UB yaitu tidak menyediakan form bagi pelamar untuk melakukan registrasi jika ingin menggunakan website.Hasil evaluasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu Sistem Informasi Lowongan Kerja Berbasis Web di UPKK UB telah berhasil diimplementasikan. Namun, masih terdapat kekurangan dalam implementasi Sistem Informasi Lowongan Kerja Berbasis Web di UPKK UB. Kekurangan dalam implementasi Sistem Informasi Lowongan Kerja Berbasis Web di UPKK UB, yaitu sebagai berikut: tidak adanya administrator yang memiliki hak akses penuh terhadap sistem; Sistem Informasi Lowongan Kerja Berbasis Web di UPKK UB belum memberikan fasilitas kepada perusahaan untuk mendapatkan hasil seleksi lamaran, output Sistem Informasi Lowongan Kerja Berbasis Web masih dihasilkan secara manual oleh staff UPKK UB; dan Sistem Informasi Lowongan Kerja Berbasis Web di UPKK UB belum menyediakan layanan member bagi pencari kerja/pelamar.

English Abstract

The background of this research is Web Based Job Vacancy Information System needed in the recruitment process of a company / institution/ agency. Evaluation results are expected to help Brawijaya University's Career and Entrepreneurship Development Unit (UPKK UB) in running one of its work program is the improvement of performance and development of UPKK system. The evaluation method use the Utility System approach. The evaluated dimension is the service dimension in which the system output determines the response to one event. Evaluation of system implementation also use the theory of Web Based Job Vacancy Information System Criteria from Prameswara & Christianti (2013) to assess the implementation of information system in UPKK UB based on the criteria which has been specified. This research is a case study research with qualitative approach. Data collection was done by observation technique conducted in research area and UPKK UB website; interviews with internal parties (Operator, Head of Administration Section, and Marketing Division) and external parties (visitors or applicants who use the UPKK UB website); and documentation by collecting internal documents from UPKK UB, photo data, and website documentation. Data validity uses source triangulation and method triangulation. Data analysis is based on the analysis stages proposed by Cresswell (2013) which consists of the stages: data preparation, data reading, data coding, data description, data presentation, and data interpretation. Using the Utility System Approach, it is known that the output of the Web Based Job Vacancy Information System has been used effectively. Reports are submitted to the party who should receive; reports are made to meet the needs of decision makers; the distribution area of the reports is clear in the area of Brawijaya University; reports are easily converted to other forms as needed and easily stored on both computers and file cabinets; there is a time discipline submission of reports; and reports are used to plan the next activity, make further work programs, and input for further improvement. Using the criteria theory of Web Based Job Vacancy Information System by Prameswara and Christianti (2013), it is known that there is one criterion that has not been fulfilled by Web Based Job Vacancy Information System in UPKK UB that does not provide form for applicant to do registration if want to use website. Result of evaluation in this research that is Web Based Job Vacancy Information System in UPKK UB has been successfully implemented. However, there are still shortcomings in the implementation of the Web Based Job Vacancy Information System at UPKK UB. Shortcomings in the implementation of Web Based Job Vacancy Information System in UPKK UB, as follows: no administrator has full access right to system; Web Based Job Vacancy Information System at UPKK UB has not provided facility to company to get the result of application selection, Output of Information System of Web Based Job Vacancy Information System is still produced manually by UPKK UB staff; and Web Based Job Vacancy Information System in UPKK UB has not provided member services for job seekers / applicants.
