Abstract
Brem padat merupakan makanan tradisional masyarakat Indonesia, yang terbuat dari fermentasi ketan putih dan memiliki rasa dan aroma yang khas. Untuk menjaga kualitas Brem padat UMKM dapat menjaga kualitas bahan baku yang diperoleh dari pemasok yang telah terpercaya. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan supply chain management. Kualitas Brem padat merupakan keunggulan bersaing yang dapat memberikan kepuasan terhadap konsumen dan membuat konsumen akan memilih lagi produk tersebut sehingga dapat meningkatkan penjualan UMKM dan membuat kinerja UMKM lebih baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara supply chain management terhadap kinerja UMKM dengan menggunakan keunggulan bersaing sebagai variabel mediasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan menggunakan 3 variabel, yaitu supply chain management, keunggulan bersaing, dan kinerja usaha. Indikator yang digunakan pada variabel supply chain management adalah strategic supplier partnership, customer relationship, level of information sharing, level of information quality, dan postponement. Indikator pada variabel keunggulan bersaing adalah delivery dependability, inovasi produk, time to market, price, dan quality. Indikator yang digunakan pada variabel kinerja usaha adalah pangsa pasar, peningkatan aset, peningkatan penjualan, dan peningkatan keuntungan. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden. Kuesioner tersebut menggunakan skala Likert 1-5 yang menunjukkan nilai sangat tidak setuju (STS) – sangat setuju (SS) pada pernyataan yang diberikan. Responden pada penelitian ini yaitu pemilik UMKM berjumlah 31 yang diambil dengan teknik stratified random sampling. 8 Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel supply chain management mempengaruhi kinerja usaha sebesar 24,8% dan keunggulan bersaing sebesar 42,7%. Supply chain management berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja usaha. Keunggulan bersaing mampu memediasi pengaruh antara supply chain management terhadap kinerja usaha dengan bentuk mediasi partial mediation. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan dari penelitian ini adalah UMKM Brem padat perlu menjaga hubungan kemitraan dengan pemasok untuk memenuhi kebutuhan bahan baku yang berkualitas agar menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas dan meminimalkan produk gagal, menerapkan information sharing, meningkatkan inovasi produk, dan meningkatkan kualitas produk.
English Abstract
Solid Brem is traditional food of Indonesian people which is made of fermented white sticky rice and has special taste and flavour. In order to keep its quality, MSMEs can keep the quality of main materials from the trusted supplier which can be done by supply chain management. The quality of solid Brem can give satisfaction to consumers and make consumers to do repeat buying so the sale of MSMEs will be increasing and the performance will be better. This research aim to know the influence of supply chain management to MSMEs’ business performance with competitive advantage as a mediation variable. This research used the Partial Least Square (PLS) method using 3 variables, i.e. supply chain management, competitive advantage, and business performance. Indicators of supply chain management were strategic supplier partnership, customer relationship, level of information sharing, level of information quality, and postponement. Indicators of competitive advantage were delivery dependability, product innovation, time to market, price, and quality. Indicators of business performance were market share, asset increase, sales increase, and profit increase. The data were taken by distributing questionnaires to respondent. Likert scale used in the questionnaires were 1-5 which mentioned the most disagree and most agree of respondent’s opinion. The respondent of this research were 31 owner of MSMEs which were taken by stratified random sampling technique. The result of this research showed that supply chain management variable influence business performance of 24.8% and competitive advantage of 42.7%. Supply chain management had a positive and significant influence to business performance. Competitive advantage was a partial mediation of supply chain management to business performance influence. The 10 recommendations for MSMEs based on this research were increasing supplier partnership between MSME and supplier to fullfil the need of qualified main materials in order to get qualified production and to minimalize fail production, application of information sharing, increasing of product innovation, and increasing of product quality.
