Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepemimpinan transformasional, kepemimpinan transaksional, dan kinerja karyawan serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan secara parsial maupun simultan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian explanatory dengan jenis pendekatan kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Kantor Cabang Kawi Malang, dengan menggunakan populasi sebanyak 75 karyawan. Teknik pada pengambilan sampel menggunakan Proportionate Stratified Sampling dengan jumlah sampel 65 karyawan. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari data primer dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden dan data sekunder berasal dari hasil wawancara yang kemudian diolah oleh peneliti. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan regresi linier berganda. English Abstract
This study aims to describe transformational leadership, transactional leadership, and employee performance and to find out the significant influence partially or simultaneously. The type of research used is explanatory research with a type of quantitative approach. The location of this research is PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Office Kawi Malang, by using a population of 75 employees. The technique for sampling uses Proportionate Stratified Sampling with a sample of 65 employees. source of data in this research were obtained from the primary data by distributing questionnaires to the respondents and secondary data derived from interviews are then processed by the researcher. The analysis used in this research is descriptive data analysis and inferential statistical analysis by multiple linear regression. The results indicate that multiple regression analysis can be arranged as follows Y = 1437 + 0339 (X1) +0282 (X2), then b1 or transformational leadership (X1) means that if transformational leadership is increased by 1 unit, then employee performance will increase by 0.339 and b2 or transactional leadership (X2) means that if transactional leadership is increased by 1 unit, then employee performance will increase by 0.282. In the simultaneous test can produce sig F value (0.000) <α = 0.05, then the simultaneous test analysis model (F test) is significant, and in the partial test by looking at the results of the sig value of 0.000 <α (0.050), then the conclusion is that transformational leadership variables (X1) have a significant effect on employee performance, and by looking at the results of the sig value that is equal to 0.011 <α (0.050), it can be concluded that the variable transactional leadership (X2) significantly affects on performance employees. The conclusion of this study is transformational leadership and transactional leadership significantly influence the performance of employees of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Kawi Malang Branch Office. It means that the better the attitude of the leader, the employee's performance will increase.
