Abstract
Permintaan terhadap komoditas sayuran terus meningkat terutama dalam hal ekspor dimana berdasarkan data Ditjen Holtikutura (2014) ekspor komoditas sayuran tahun 2013 sebesar 128.330 ton, pada tahun 2014 meningkat menjadi sebesar 150.356 ton. Kedelai edamame merupakan salah satu produk hortikutura jenis sayuran (green soybean vegetable) yang ada di Indonesia. Pengembangan edamame di Indonesia masih terbatas dengan indikator belum banyaknya produsen yang mengusahakan edamame di seluruh Indonesia, padahal Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang memiliki areal pertanaman yang cocok untuk membudidayakan edamame. Permasalahan yang dihadapi petani di Kabupaten Jember dalam berusahatani edamame adalah hasil usahatani edamame di tingkat petani yang dilakukan dengan sistem kemitraan masih rendah dibandingkan dengan produksi pada tingkat perusahaan. Rendahnya produksi tersebut dikarenakan penggunaan faktor produksi yang belum efisien dalam usahatani edamame. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pengkombinasian penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi yang efisien agar memperoleh keuntungan yang maksimal. Berdasarkan uraian di atas, penting dilakukan penelitian tentang efisiensi penggunaan faktor-faktor pada usahatani edamame untuk memperoleh masukan penggunaan faktor produksi yang efisien dalam memaksimalkan keuntungan. Permasalahan dalam penilitian ini dapat dirumuskan sebagai berikut “Sejauh mana tingkat efisiensi alokatif penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi yang dicapai petani berpengaruh pada pendapatan usahatani edamame”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Menganalisis tingkat produksi dan pendapatan usahatani edamame; (2) Menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi dan pendapatan usahatani edamame; (3) Menganalis pencapaian efisiensi alokatif pada usahatani edamame; (4) Menganalisis pengaruh tingkat efisiensi yang dicapai petani terhadap pendapatan usahatani edamame. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus karena populasi petani hanya berjumlah 16 KK petani. Objek pada penelitian ini merupakan unit usahatani musim tanam. Penelitian ini menggunakan data usahatani edamame pada dua musim tanam sehingga diperoleh objek sebanyak 32 unit. Pada metode analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif dan metode analisis data kuantitatif dengan alat analisis berupaanalisis usahatani, analisis fungsi produksi cobb-douglas, analisis fungsi pendapatan, dan analisis efisiensi alokatif. Hasil penelitian antara lain: (1) Tingkat produksi dan pendapatan usahatani edamame di daerah penelitian sudah tergolong tinggi apabila dibandingkan dengan tingkat produksi kedelai pada umumnya di Jawa Timur (2) Peningkatan penggunaan benih, pestisida padat, dan tenaga kerja masih dapat meningkatkan produksi edamame. Demikian juga lama berusahatani, semakin lama pengalaman usahataninya maka semakin tinggi tingkat produksinya (3) Peningkatan hasil produksi masih dapat meningkatkan pendapatan, sedangkan peningkatan biaya benih, biaya pupuk, biaya pestisida, dan biaya tenaga kerja dapat menurunkan tingkat pendapatan usahatani edamame. (4) Penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi benih, pestisida padat dan tenaga kerja pada tingkat harga yang berlaku masih belum efisien, karena penggunaannya masih kurang. (5) Peningkatan tingkat efisiensi penggunaan benih, pestisida padat dan tenaga kerja dapat meningkatkan pendapatan usahatani edamame. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Produksi usahatani edamame di daerah penelitian agar dapat meningkat, perlu adanya penambahan penggunaan benih, pestisida padat dan tenaga kerja dengan memperhatikan harga dari masing –masing faktor produksi tersebut agar tidak menurunkan pendapatan. (2) Perlu adanya penyuluhan maupun pelatihan mengenai teknis budidaya edamame sehingga petani dapat menghasilkan produksi yang maksimal agar pendapatan petani meningkat.. (3) Perlu penelitian lebih lanjut dengan teknik sampling yang memungkinkan lebih terwakilinya populasi. .
English Abstract
Demand for vegetable commodities continue to increase, especially in the case of exports. Based on data from Directorate General of Holtikutura (2014), the export of vegetable commodities in 2013 amounted to 128,330 tons, increasing to 150,356 tons in 2014. Edamame is one of horticulture product of vegetable (green soybean vegetable) in Indonesia. Edamame development in Indonesia is still limited with indicators of not yet many producers who cultivate edamame throughout Indonesia, whereas Indonesia is one country that has a suitable cultivation area to cultivate edamame. The problem faced by farmers in Jember Regency on edamame farming is edamame production at farmers level with partnership system is still low compared to production at company level. The low production is due to the inefficient use of production factors in edamame farming. Therefore, it is necessary to combine the use of efficient production factors to achieve maximum profit. Based on the description above, it is important to do research on the efficient use of factors in edamame farming to obtain inputs of efficient use of production factors in maximizing profits. The problems in this research can be formulated as follows: "how far the allocative efficiency of the use of production factors achieved by farmers has an effect on the income of edamame farming". The purpose of this research are (1) to analyze level of production and income on edamame farming; (2) To analyze the factors influencing the production and income of edamame farming; (3) Analyzing the achievement of allocative efficiency in edamame farming; (4) Analyzing the effect of the efficiency level achieved by farmers on edamame farm income. This study uses census method because the farmer population only amounted to 16 families of farmers. The object of this research is the farming unit of the planting season. This research uses data on two planting seasons to obtain the object of 32 units. In the method of data analysis using descriptive method and quantitative data analysis method with analysis tools such as farming analysis, production function cobb-douglas analysis, income function analysis, and analysis of allocative efficiency. The results of research are: (1) Production level and income of edamame farm in research area have been high compared to soybean production in general in EastJava (2) Increased use of seeds, solid pesticides, and labor can increase edamame production. Similarly, the longer the farming experience, the higher the production level. (3) The increase in production yield can still increase the income, while the increase of seed cost, the cost of fertilizer, the cost of pesticide, and the labor cost can decrease the income level of edamame farming. (4) The use of seed production factors, solid pesticides and labor at the prevailing price level is still inefficient, as their use is lacking. (5) Increasing the efficiency level of the use of seeds, solid pesticides and labor can increase the income of edamame farming. Suggestions in this research are: (1) Edamame farm production in research area in order to increase, need the addition of use of seeds, solid pesticide and labor by paying attention to price from each of production factor so as not to decrease income. (2) There needs counseling and training to be done about edamame cultivation techniques so that farmers can produce maximum production so that the farmer's income increases. (3) Need further research with the technique that can represent the population.
