Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Corporate Social Responsibility terhadap kinerja perusahaan, Corporate Social Responsibility dan nilai perusahaan, dan kinerja perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Pertanggungjawaban sosial perusahaan harus diperhatikan mengingat besarnya dampak operasional perusahaan terhadap lingkungan dan masyarakat. Kegiatan Corporate Social Responsibility yang diatur secara keberlanjutan dapat memberikan dampak positif untuk kinerja perusahaan dan nilai perusahaan. Corporate Social Responsibility akan diukur dengan menggunakan Corporate Social Responsibility Index (CSRI) dengan menggunakan pedoman Global Reportive Initiative (GRI). Kinerja perusahaan diukur menggunakan ROE, dan Nilai perusahaan menggunakan Tobin’s Q. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan penelitian eksplanatori. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Perusahaan Indeks SRI-KEHATI yang mempublikasikan cheklist GRI dalam laporan keberlanjutan dan atau laporan tahunan dengan dilengkapi laporan keuangan yang telah audit dan terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013-2017. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan model analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Corporate Social Rsponsibility tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ROE; 2) Corporate Social Rsponsibility berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Tobin’s Q; 3) ROE Berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Tobin’s Q. Perhitungan menggunakan path analysis menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh langsung CSRI terhadap Tobin’s Q lebih besar daripada pengaruh tidak langsung CSRI terhadap Tobin’s Q melalui ROE. ROE (Z) sebagai variabel intervening tidak mampu memperkuat pengaruh CSRI terhadap Tobin’s Q (Y).
English Abstract
This research was conducted to know the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility on Company Performance, Corporate Social Responsibility on Company Value, and Company Performance on Company Value. Corporate Social Responsibility must be considered because the magnitude of the company's operational impact on the environment and society. Corporate Social Responsibility activities that are regulated in a sustainable manner can have a positive impact on company performance and value. Corporate Social Responsibility measured by Corporate Social Responsibility Index (CSRI) with Global Reportive Initiative (GRI) guidelines. Company performance measured by Return On Equity (ROE), and company value measured by Tobin’s Q. Types of this research uses quantitative methods with explanatory research . The sample in this study is the company of SRI-KEHATI Index which publishes the GRI checklist in the sustainability report and /or annual report with audit financial report and listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2013-2017. The study was conducted using path analysis model. The results of this study show that 1) Corporate Social Responsibility has no significant effect on ROE; 2) Corporate Social Responsibility has a significant effect on Tobin’s Q; 3) ROE has a significant effect on Tobin's Q. Calculations using path analysis show that CSRI's direct effect on Tobin's Q greater than CSRI's indirect effect on Tobin’s Q through ROE. ROE as an intervening variable is not able to strengthen CSRI's effect on Tobin's Q.
