Abstract
Seiring kemajuan jaman, persaingan perusahaan juga semakin banyak dan beragam. Produksi gula merah di PT. Perkebunan Sumber Sari Petung semakin meningkat. Tujuan penelitian adalah memberikan solusi terhadap masalah perencanaan kapasitas produksi gula merah agar dapat memenuhi permintaan konsumen dengan menggunakan metode RCCP dan pendekatan systems dynamics. Peramalan permintaan menggunakan Software IBM SPSS 24 Statistics untuk menentukan data Jadwal Induk Produksi (JIP). RCCP kemudian dihitung dengan teknik Capacity Planning of Overall Factors (CPOF) untuk merencanakan kapasitas produksi. Analisis dilanjutkan dengan pendekatan system dynamics untuk melihat keterkaitan antara model terjadinya order backlog dan penentuan jumlah perubahan kapasitas, perubahan kapasitas produksi, dan perencanaan produksi. Hasil dari peramalan permintaan yang terbaik digunakan untuk peramalan adalah dengan nilai Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) yang terkecil yaitu pada metode peramalan Simple Seasonal. Hasil peramalan ini digunakan untuk data JIP perusahaan. Hasil perhitungan CPOF setelah dilakukan penyamaan beban kerja sebesar 14,93 ton. Penyamaan beban kerja dilakukan untuk memaksimalkan kapasitas produksi. Pendekatan system dynamics untuk perbaikan kapasitas produksi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat keterkaitan antara model terjadinya order backlog dan penentuan jumlah perubahan kapasitas, perubahan kapasitas produksi, dan perencanaan produksi.
English Abstract
The competition of companies also is increasy. The production of brown sugar at PT. Sumber Sari Petung Plantation is increasing in facing the competition. The research aimed is to provide solutions to the problem of the production capacity of planning brown sugar to meet consumer demand using the RCCP method and systems dynamics approach. Demand forecasting was carried out to meet for Master Production Schedule (MPS) data, using IBM SPSS 24 Statistics Software. The RCCP was then calculated using the Capacity Planning of Overall Factors (CPOF) technique to plan production capacity. The analysis continued with a system dynamics approach to see the relationship between the model of the order backlog and the determination of the amount of capacity change, changes in production capacity, and production planning. The best results of demand forecasting was Simple Seasonal forecasting method which has the smallest Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value. The results of this forecasting was used for MPS. The results of CPOF calculation after workload equalization was 14.93 tons. Equalization of workload was carried out to maximize production capacity. The system dynamics for improvement of production capacity showed that there was a link between the model of the order backlog and the determination of the amount of capacity changes, changes in production capacity, and production planning.
