Abstract

Peristiwa G30SPKI merupakan peristiwa dimana terdapat sekelompok orang yang ingin menggantikan ideologi negara dengan paham lain yaitu komunisme oleh PKI. Penculikan dan pembunuhan beberapa jenderal militer di lubang buaya menjadi titik balik dari peristiwa ini. Peristiwa ini dapat dikategorikan kedalam kejahatan kemanusiaan. Dan hal ini tidak banyak dibahas bahkan pemerintah Indonesia tidak terbuka akan hal ini khususnya pada masa Orde Baru. Setelah lengsernya Presiden Soeharto atau runtuhnya masa Orde Baru menjadi Reformasi, peristiwa 1965 kembali mencuat seperti salah satunya yang dilakukan oleh IPT65 (International People’s Tribunal/ Pengadilan Rakyat Internasional 1965). Munculnya IPT65 sendiri karena tidak puas dengan pemerintah Indonesia yang bungkam atau hanya menjanjikan untuk membuka peristiwa 1965. Untuk Itu IPT65 mencoba untuk menegakkan hak para korban dengan cara melakukan advokasi menggunakan Transnational Advocacy Network. Penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana proses advokasi IPT65 menggunakan Transnational Advocacy Network.

English Abstract

The G30SPKI event is an event where there is a group of people who want to replace the state ideology with another understanding, namely communism by the PKI. The kidnapping and killing of several military generals in the crocodile hole was the turning point of this event. This event can be categorized into crimes against humanity. And this was not much discussed even the Indonesian government was not open to this, especially during the New Order era. After the fall of President Soeharto or the collapse of the New Order era into Reformation, the 1965 event resurfaced as one of them was carried out by the IPT65 (International People’s Tribunal 1965). The emergence of IPT65 itself was not satisfied with the silence of the Indonesian government or only promised to open the events of 1965. For that reason, IPT65 tried to uphold the rights of victims by advocating using the Transnational Advocacy Network. This study explains how the IPT65 advocacy process uses the Transnational Advocacy Network.
