Abstract
Persaingan bisnis burger yang semakin gencar membuat para pelaku bisnis harus mencari strategi agar produknya terus dicari konsumen. Salah satu cara untuk bertahan dalam persaingan bisnis burger adalah dengan merancang kemasan burger agar menarik konsumen untuk membeli. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang kemasan burger yang sesuai dengan keinginan konsumen menggunakan metode Kansei Engineering. Kansei engineering adalah metode yang dipakai untuk mengidentifikasi aspek psikologis dan ergonomi konsumen saat berinteraksi dengan produk dan menemukan hubungan antara perasaan dengan karakteristik produk. Penerapan metode kansei engineering dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 19 kata kansei dan 4 elemen desain (bahan, bentuk, warna,dan label). Kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya diberikan kepada 60 responden untuk mengetahui perasaan dan ergonomi responden terhadap 11 sampel kemasan burger. Analisis faktor kemudian dilakukan untuk mengetahui keterkaitan antar kata kansei dan menyederhanakannya ke dalam faktor baru yang jumlahnya lebih sedikit dari jumlah sebelumnya. Analisis konjoin selanjutnya dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan ke-19 kata kansei dengan 4 elemen desain burger sehingga, diketahui rancangan kemasan burger yang diinginkan konsumen. Perancangan kemasan burger menggunakan bantuan software Corel Draw X8 trial version. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rancangan kombinasi kemasan burger yang sesuai dengan keinginan konsumen berdasarkan ke-19 kata kansei adalah kemasan dengan bahan kertas duplex, label digital printing, banyak warna (>2 warna), dan bentuk standing pouch dengan total nilai utiliy sebesar viii 0,901. Berdasarkan nilai importance value secara keseluruhan, prioritas elemen desain kemasan burger yang dipentingkan konsumen secara berturut-turut adalah bahan (50,656), label (24,926), bentuk (17,220), dan warna (7,198).
English Abstract
The increasingly intense burger business competition has made business people have to look for strategies to keep consumers looking for their products. One way to survive in the burger business competition is by designing burger packages to attract consumers to buy. This study aimed to design a burger package that was in accordance with the wishes of consumers using the Kansei Engineering method. Kansei engineering is a method used to identify the psychological aspects and ergonomics of consumers when interacting with a product and find a relationship between feelings and product characteristics. The application of the kansei engineering method in this study used 19 kansei words and 4 design elements (material, shape, color, and label). Questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability were given to 60 respondents to find out the feelings and ergonomics of respondents on 11 samples of burger packaging. Factor analysis was then carried out to determine the relationship between kansei words and simplify them into new factors that were fewer than the previous number. Conjoin analysis was then carried out to determine the relationship of the 19 kansei words with the 4 elements of the burger design so that it was known that the burger packaging design was desired by consumers. The design of burger packaging using Corel Draw X8 trial version software. Based on the results of the study, the design of the burger packaging combination in accordance with the wishes of consumers based on the 19 kansei words was packaging with duplex paper, digital printing labels, many colors (> 2 colors), and standing pouch form with a total utiliy value of 0.901. Overall, concerned by the consumers based on importance value, the priority of burger packaging design elements were x materials (50,656), labels (24,926), shapes (17,220), and colors (7,198).
