Abstract
BDS Movement adalah sebuah gerakan sosial yang dibertujuan untuk mengakhiri tindakan kolonialisasi dan okupasi yang dilakukan Israel terhadap Palestina. Seruan BDS sendiri muncul pada tahun 2005 yang dibentuk kurang lebih 170 organisasi masyarakat Palestina. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh BDS Movement dalam mengampanyekan seruan BDS terhadap Israel kepada pihak-pihak internasional. Untuk menganalisa fenomena tersebut, penulis menggunakan konsep strategi gerakan sosial menurut Charles Tilly. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis berfokus terhadap tiga strategi utama dalam gerakan sosial menurut Tilly yaitu kampanye, repertoar gerakan sosial, dan WUNC Displays sebagai upaya dari BDS Movement. Di dalam penelitian ini, terdapat argumen utama yang nanti akan disimpulkan dengan hasil dari penelitian dan analisa penulis.
English Abstract
BDS Movement is a social movement aimed at ending the colonialization and occupation of Israel against Palestine. The BDS call itself emerged in 2005 of approximately 170 Palestinian community organizations. This research aims to find out how efforts made by BDS Movement in campaigning BDS call against Israel to the international parties. To analyze the phenomenon, the authors use the concept of social movement strategy according to Charles Tilly. In this research, the author focuses on three main strategies in social movements according to Tilly such as campaign, social movement repertoire, and WUNC Displays as effort of BDS Movement. In this research, there are major arguments that will be concluded with the results of research and analysis of the authors.
