Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran antara resiliensi dan hope terhadap performa akademik pada mahasiswa tingkat pertama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Populasi dan sampel dari penelitian ini berjumlah 643 mahasiswa tingkat pertama. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk performa akademikmenggunakan nilai Ujian Nasional SMA, alat ukur Resiliensi menggunakan CD-RISC Connor and Davidson Resilience Scale (2003), dan Hope menggunakan State Hope Scale milik Snyder (1994). Teknik analisis data menggunakan multiple regression. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi (ρ) sebesar 0.565 (< 0.05) yang artinya tidak terdapat peran secara simultan antara resiliensi dan hope terhadap performa akademik mahasiswa tingkat pertama.
English Abstract
The aim at this study was to know the role between resilience and hope toward academic performance in first grade student. This study used quantitative method with total sampling. The population and sample of this study amounted to 643 frist-degree students. The measuring instrument used for resilience is using the national high school exam score, resilience measures using CD-RISC connor and davidson scale (2003), and hope uses state hope scale by Snyder (1994). Data analysis technique using multiple regression. The result of data analysis shows that the significance value (p) is 0.565 (p > 0.05) which means that there is no simultaneous role between resilience and hope to academic performance of frist grade students.
