Abstract
Waduk Bratang merupakan salah satu waduk yang terdapat di Kota Surabaya, digunakan sebagai tempat penampungan air hujan dan air dari Sungai Sumo lalu diteruskan ke Sungai Jagir. Aliran dari Sungai Sumo membawa beban masukan berupa bahan organik yang berpotensi meningkatkan status kesuburan melalui eutrofikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menduga status kesuburan yang ada di perairan Waduk Bratang berdasarkan metode TSI (Trophic State Index) kandungan klorofil-a, fosfat dan kecerahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Waduk Bratang digolongkan pada perairan eutrofik sedang berdasarkan perhitungan TSI (Trophic State Index). Kisaran kualitas air yaitu suhu 29.3-31 (0C), pH 6.3-6.8, kecerahan 9.8-11.9 cm, DO 6.5-8.2 mg/l, karbondioksida 9.03-11.34 mg/l, nitrat 0.04-0.11 mg/l, fosfat 0.52-0.77 mg/l dan klorofil-a 0.03-0.1 μg/l.
English Abstract
Bratang is one of the reservoirs in Surabaya which is used as a shelter of rainwater and water from the Sumo River and then forward them to the Jagir River. The flow of the river carrying the burden in the form of organic matter in Sumo River that could potentially enhance fertility through eutrophication. This research aims to investigate the fertility range of the Bratang Reservoir mbased on the TSI method that is (Trophic State Index) chlorophyll-a, phosphate and brightness. The results showed that the Bratang Reservoir water classified as medium eutrophic. The range of water quality: temperature 29.3-31 (0c), pH 6.3-6.8, the brightness 9.8-11.9 cm, DO 6.5-8.2 mg/l, carbon dioxide 9.03-11 mg/l, nitrate 0.04-0.11 mg/l, phosphate 0.52-0.77 mg/l and chlorophyll-a 0.03-0.1 μ g/l.
