Abstract
Konsep hijrah dalam perkembangannya memiliki tiga makna dalam perspektif politik, ahli fiqih dan umum. Penelitian terdahulu hanya membahas konsep hijrah dalam dua perspektif pertama yang bermakna migrasi dan perpindahan tempat dari negara kafir menuju negara Islam. Penelitian ini mengambil kekokosongan dari penelitian terdahulu yang jarang membahas makna hijrah dalam perspektif umum. Hijrah dalam perspektif umum bermakna perubahan perilaku individu demi tujuan agama yang sangat berkaitan dengan fenomena hijrah saat ini. Munculnya fenomena hijrah diiringi dengan ciri lahirnya komunitas hijrah, seruan kembali kepada Al-Qur’an dan Al-Hadits, serta maraknya penggunaan simbol-simbol keagamaan oleh pelaku hijrah seperti memelihara jenggot, mengenakan celana di atas mata kaki, cadar, dan baju longgar. Melalui pemaparan mengenai atribut pelaku hijrah, penelitian ini berfokus pada identitas yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui identitas keagamaan pelaku hijrah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode fenomenologi melalui pengalaman pelaku hijrah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa identitas pelaku hijrah sebelum berhijrah adalah individu nakal yang ditunjukkan melalui perilakunya sering berpacaran dan membuka aurat. Faktor yang mendorong pelaku hijrah untuk berhijrah adalah keluarga dan teman serta keinginan perbaikan diri dari pelaku hijrah. Saat berhijrah identitas pelaku hijrah merupakan individu yang lebih taat dalam melaksanakan perintah agama dengan mengurangi interaksi terhadap lawan jenis, menutup aurat, meninggalkan musik dan menghadiri majlis ilmu. Tiga informan penelitian ini memiliki identitas sebagai anggota kelompok salafi yang ditunjukkan melalui perilakunya dengan tidak berjabat tangan seusai sholat, tidak membaca do’a qunut dan mengharamkan demo. Perilaku ini didasari oleh keyakinan untuk melaksanakan perintah agama seperti pada zaman Nabi Muhammad dan sahabat.
English Abstract
The concept of hijrah in its development has three meanings in a political, jurisprudent and general perspective. Previous research only discussed the concept of hijrah in the two perspectives which meant migration and the transfer of places from pagan countries to Islamic countries. This study takes a stand out from previous studies which rarely discussed the meaning of hijrah in a general perspective. Hijrah in the general perspective means changes in individual behavior for religious purposes which are closely related to the current phenomenon of migration. The emergence of the phenomenon of hijrah accompanied by the characteristics of the birth of the hijrah community, the call back to the Qur'an and Al-Hadith, and the widespread use of religious symbols by hijra executors such as maintaining a beard, wearing pants over ankles, veils, and loose clothes. Through exposure to the attributes of hijra executors, this study focuses on identity which aims to find out the religious identity of the hijra executors. This type of research is descriptive qualitative by using phenomenological methods through the experience of hijra executors. The results of this study indicate that the identity of hijra executors before doing hijra is a naughty individual who is shown through his behavior often dating and opening aurat. The factors that encourage hijra executors to do hijra are family and friends and the desire to improve themselves. When doing hijra the identity of the hijra executors is an individual who is more obedient in carrying out religious orders by reducing interaction with the opposite sex, closing the genitals, leaving music and attending the majlis of science. The three informants of this research have identities as salafi group members who are shown through their behavior by not shaking hands after prayer, not reading qunut du’a and prohibiting the demo. This behavior is based on the belief to carry out religious orders as in the time of the Prophet Muhammad.
