Suwarduki, Dhella Safira Kusumaningtyas (2018) Pengaruh Earning Per Share (Eps), Price To Book Value (Pbv), Dan Volume Perdagangan Terhadap Harga Saham (Studi Pada Harga Saham Lq-45 Di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode Tahun 2014-2016). Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
The objective of this study is to identify the effect of Earning Per Share (EPS), Price to Book Value (PBV), and trading volume on the stock prices by applying multiple linear regression analysis. The samples, which are selected by purposive sampling method, are all companies listed on the LQ-45 index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2014-2016, comprising 33 companies in total. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Earning Per Share (EPS) partially gives positive significant effect on stock prices; (2) Price to Book Value (PBV) partially gives positive significant effect on stock prices; and (3) Trading volume partially shows negative effect on stock prices. The simultaneous test results reveal that the independent variables of Earning Per Share (EPS), Price to Book Value (PBV), and trading volume together influence the stock prices. That the determinant 2 test is equal to 87.7% signifies that the variant of the stock prices can be explained by the variation of independent variables and that the percentage of 2 value as 12.3% can be explained by other variables not included in the model. These results can be considered as practical analytical tools by the investors in trading the stocks.
