Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sebuah gangguan psikologis yang dialami oleh remaja wanita berupa sindrom Cinderella Complex yang direpresentasikan dalam film drama serial korea “Guardian : the Lonely and Great God” atau disebut Goblin melalui tokoh Ji Eun Tak . Fokus penelitian ini adalah representasi sindrom Cinderella Complex yang terkandung dalam film drama serial korea “Guardian : the Lonely and Great God” atau Goblin ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Peirce mengkategorikan teori segitiga makna yang terdiri dari tiga elemen utama yakni, tanda, objek, dan interpretan. Peneliti melakukan analisis terhadap pemilihan teks dan gambar yang berhubungan dengan sindrom Cinderella Complex . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tokoh Ji Eun Tak dalam film drama serial korea “Guardian : the Lonely and Great God” atau Goblin ini telah merepresentasikan ciri-ciri wanita yang mengalami sindrom Cinderella Complex berupa rasa percaya diri yang rendah dan putus asa, takut untuk hidup mandiri, bergantung pada orang lain, manja dan kekanak-kanakan.

English Abstract

This research describe a psychological disorder experienced by young women in the form of Cinderella Complex syndrome which is represented in the Korean drama series "Guardian: the Lonely and Great God" or Goblin through Ji Eun Tak's character. The focus of this study is the representation of Cinderella Complex syndrome contained in the Korean drama series "Guardian: the Lonely and Great God" or Goblin. This research using the qualitative approach with Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis. Peirce categorizes the meaning of triangle theory which consists of three main elements : signs, objects, and interpretants. Researchers analyzed the selection of text and images related to Cinderella Complex syndrome. The results of this research indicate that the Korean drama series "Guardian: the Lonely and Great God" or Goblin contains the characteristics of Cinderella Complex syndrome in the form of low self-esteem and despair, fear of living independently, depending on others, spoiled and childish will.
