Abstract
Adanya indikasi dari kemunduran vitalitas kawasan pada Pusat Kerajinan Gerabah Kelurahan Penanggungan ditandai dengan menurunnya aktivitas bahkan jumlah pengrajin kerajinan gerabah. Adanya kejadian tersebut secara tidak langsung dapat mengancam identitas kawasan sebagai sentral kerajinan gerabah di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan revitalisasi kawasan pada Kelurahan Penanggungan RW 6 sebagai Kampung Wisata berdasarkan variabel dan kriteria revitalisasi kawasan dengan pendekatan kampung wisata. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif serta pada objek penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kampung wisata yang dijadikan variabel penelitian dari berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal peraturan pemerintah dan penelitian terdahulu yang terkait dengan kampung wisata. Tahapan analisis yang dilakukan terlebih dahulu mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kemunduran vitalitas menggunakan pengukuran dengan sistem scorring. Setelah itu menganalisis kawasan kerajinan gerabah dengan pendekatan kampung wisata melalui tiga komponen kampung wisata yaitu aksesibilitas, atraksi dan fasilitas. Pada aksesibilitas dianalisis berdasarkan kemudahan pengunjung dalam mengakses kawasan. Kemudian melakukan analisis pada kegiatan pengrajin gerabah sebagai atraksi wisata. Terakhir yaitu menganalisis fasilitas yang dapat mendukung kegiatan atraksi pada kampung wisata. Hasil dari analisis tersebut kemudian dilakukan proses sentesis sehingga menghasilkan rekomendasi desain yang layak untuk dilakukan revitalisasi.
English Abstract
There are indication of deterioration of regions vitality at Penanggungan Village Pottery Craft Center which marked by the decreasing of activity even the number of pottery craftsmen. The existence of these events can indirectly threaten the identity of the region as a pottery craft central in Malang. This study aims to formulate the revitalization of the region in Penanggungan RW 06 Village as a tourist village based on the variables and criteria of regions revitalization with the approach of tourist village. The research method used is qualitative descriptive method and for research object using the approach of tourist village which used as research variables from various sources, such as books, government regulatory journals and previous research related to the tourist village. The first stage of analysis is start by identify factors that may affect the decline of vitality using measurements with the scorring system. After that, analyze the pottery craft area performed with approach of the tourist village through the three components of tourist village that is accessibility, attractions and facilities. The accessibility is analyzed based on the ease of visitors in accessing the area. Then analyze the activities of pottery craftsmen as a tourist attraction. The last is to analyze the facilities that can support the activities of attractions in the tourist village. The results of the analysis are then in synthesis so can to produced a design recommendation that worthy to revitalization.
