Abstract
Swedia merupakan negara pertama di dunia yang secara eksplisit menjalankan kebijakan luar negeri dengan dilandasi semangat feminisme, yang kemudian disebut sebagai feminist foreign policy. Keberanian Swedia untuk secara eksplisit meluncurkan feminist foreign policy memperoleh banyak perhatian dari masyarakat luas baik regional maupun internasional. Beberapa pihak mendukung feminist foreign policy Swedia sebagai langkah lebih jauh untuk mewujudkan perdamain dunia melalui kebijakan tersebut, namun tidak sedikit pula pandangan yang merespon dengan skeptisme karena tidak benar-benar mengetahui kebijakan seperti apa yang sebenarnya dimaksud Swedia melalui istilah feminist foreign policy. Tulisan ini kemudian bertujuan untuk mencari tahu bagaimadan dan sumber-sumber apa sajakah yang mempengaruhi Swedia untuk kemudian menjalankan feminist foreign policy. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori foreign policy inputs sebagai alat analisa dan kemudian menemukan bahwa feminist foreign policy Swedia dipengaruhi sumber-sumber baik sumber internal maupun internal. Kesimpulan dari tulisan ini adalah bahwa feminist foreign policy yang dijalankan Swedia pada masa pemerintahan Stefan Lofven tahun 2014-2018 dipengaruhi oleh salah satu sumber yang dominan yakni sumber masyarakat, terutama dilihat dari budaya masyarakat Swedia dan Sejarah kebijakan luar negerinya.
English Abstract
Sweden is the first country in the world that explicitly announced that they will formulate and pursue a feminist foreign policy, a policy that based on the spirit of feminism, in the era of Prime Minister Stefan Lovfen 2014-2018. The international society consider it as a brave step to explicitly launch the feminist foreign policy. It also received much attention from the wider community both regionally and internationally. Some international actors give a support for feminist foreign policy of Sweden as a step further to realize world peace through this policy, but some people or parties also respond it with skepticism because they do not really know what kind of policy actually meant by Sweden through the term of feminist foreign policy. This paper aims to find out how and and what sources influence Sweden to pursue a feminist foreign policy. This research is using foreign policy inputs theory by James Rosenau. The conclusion of this research is that the feminist foreign policy is influenced by some sources internally and externally. But the dominance sources is from Societal Sources because there is a variable of culture and history that shape Sweden’s foreign policy orientation.
