Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui isi pesan program acara NET “86” melalui UU No. 2 Tahun 2002 tentang Tugas Pokok Kepolisian Republik Indonesia. Polisi merupakan kelompok sosial yang menjadi bagian dari masyarakat. Anggota dari Polisi merupakan anggota masyarakat, walaupun ada aspek yang berbeda dengan masyarakat umum. Keberadaan polisi sangat erat kaitanya dengan masyarakat, karena masyarakat yang memiliki pengaruh paling besar dan merupakan target utama dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada mereka. Mengacu Pada Undang-undang No. 2 Tahun 2002 di katakan tentang Tugas Pokok Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia adalah memelihara keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat, menegakkan hukum dan memberikan perlindungan, pengayoman, dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Program acara NET “86” sebagai objek penelitian ini berbentuk features dokumenter berupaya menampilkan kegiatan sehari-hari dari anggota Polisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan posivistik. Sampel yang ditentukan dari keseluruhan populasi tayangan program acara NET “86” edisi bulan Juni 2018 – Juli 2018 berjumlah 18 tayangan . Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa program acara NET “86” menunjukan keseluruhan kegiatan dari tugas pokok Polisi dan cenderung tayangan tentang patrol lalu lintas. Selain itu program acara NET “86” juga menjadi sarana Kepolisian Republik Indonesia untuk mengedukasi kepada masyarakat tentang kegiatan Polisi sehari-hari yang tentu tidak banyak masyarakat yang tahu

English Abstract

This study aims to determine the content of NET event program message "86" through Law no. 2 of 2002 concerning the Main Duty of the Indonesian National Police. The police are a social group that is part of the community. Members of the Police are members of the community, although there are different aspects to the general public. The existence of police is very closely related to the community, because people who have the greatest influence and are the main target in providing services to them. Referring to Law No. 2 Year 2002 in saying about the Main Duty of the Police of the Republic of Indonesia is to maintain the security and public order, uphold the law and provide protection, shelter, and service to the community. The NET "86" event program as the object of this research is in the form of documentary features trying to showcase the daily activities of members of the Police. This research uses descriptive quantitative content analysis with posivistic approach. The specified samples of the overall population of NET event program impressions "86" June 2018 - July 2018 edition totaled 18 impressions. The research findings show that the NET program "86" shows the overall activity of the Police main task and tends to impressions about traffic patrol. In addition, the NET program "86" is also a means of the Police of the Republic of Indonesia to educate the public about the daily Police activities that certainly not many people who know
