Abstract

Rekrutmen politik adalah proses seleksi dan pengangkatan seseorang atau sejumlah orang untuk menjadi anggota dari suatu partai politik atau menduduki suatu jabatan politik pada. Rekrutmen kader millennial di dalam tubuh sebuah partai politik sangatlah penting, selain untuk meregenerasi kader partai, kader millennial juga dapat membantu dalam menampung aspirasi-aspirasi generasi muda. Hal ini kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teori rekrutmen politik. Kabupaten Jombang menjadi subjek dari penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Kabupaten dengan perilaku politik yang cukup unik, dimana banyak terdapat pondok pesantren dan mendapati julukan Kota Santri namun partai politik yang mendominasi adalah partai-partai nasionalis seperti PDI-P dan Golkar. PSI sebagai partai baru juga ikut mengambil tempat sebagai partai politik dengan jumlah kader millennial terbanyak di Kabupaten Jombang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan strategi rekrutmen dari ketiga partai tersebut yakni pemanfaatan media sosial partai dan peran generasi millennial di dalam partai. Terdapat lima aspek rekrutmen yang dapat menjelaskan perbedaan dari rekrutmen politik yang dilakukan oleh tiga partai tersebut yakni aspek cara partai mendekatkan diri kepada generasi millenial, rekrutmen kader, proses seleksi kader, pendidikan dan karir politik kader partai, dan kegiatan kader millenial didalam partai. Konvergensi yang dapat menjelaskan aspek-aspek tersebut ialah, strategi rekrutmen, syarat rekrutmen kader, prosedur rekrutmen, jenjang pengkaderan, dan peran kader millenial.

English Abstract

Political recruitment is the process of selection and appointment of a person or a number of persons to become members of a political party or to occupy a political position. Millennial cadre recruitment within the body of a political party is important, in addition to regenerate the party cadres, cadres of the millennial can also assist in accommodating the aspirations of the younger generation aspirations. It is then analyzed using the theory of political recruitment. Jombang became the subject of research using qualitative approaches and methods case studies. District with political behavior that is quite unique, where there were many boarding schools and found the nickname city of “Santri” but of a political party that dominates is the nationalist parties like Party of Functional Groups/Golongan Karya (Golkar) and Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle/Partai Demokrasi Indonesia-Perjuangan (PDI-P). Indonesian Solidarity Party/Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI) as new party also took place as a political party with the largest number of millennial cadres in Jombang. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was a difference in strategy for the recruitment of third parties there are the utilization of social media party and the role of the millennial generation in the party. There are five aspects of recruitment which could explain the difference of political recruitment undertaken by the three parties is,(1) aspects of the way the party closer to the generation of millennial doctrines, (2) recruitment of cadres, (3) cadre selection process, (4) education and career political party cadres, and (5) cadres of party activities in the millennial doctrines. The Convergence that can explain the fifth aspects is, (1) strategies of recruitment, (2) recruitment of cadres, (3) cadre level, (4) recruitment procedures, and (5) the role of cadres millennial.
