Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran body image wanita bertato. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Subjek dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik porposive sampling dan berjumlah tiga orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara dengan menggunakan analisis Miles and Huberman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisisi data didapatkan gambaran body image pada masing-masing subjek berdasarkan lima dimensi body image Cash dan Pruzinsky. Pada dimensi apperance evaluation ketiga subjek sama-sama mengambarkan perasaan menarik, puas dan nyaman terhadap tubuh yang ditato. Subjek D dan subjek T merasa tato ditubuh menambah daya tarik dalam penampilanya. Sedangkan, subjek N merasa tato menambah kepercayaan serta sebagai identitas diri. Apperance orientation ketiga subjek memiliki kesamaan dalam upaya meningkatkan penampilan diri yaitu menggunakan pakaian pendek dan celana pendek, namun subjek D menggunakan pakaian pendek dibagian dada sedangkan subjek N dibagian punggung. Body area satisfaction ketiga subjek memiliki kepuasan yang berbeda-beda pada bagian tubuh yang ditato seperti bagian dada, paha dan lengan. Overweight preocupation subjek D dan subjek T memiliki kecemasan saat berat badan meningkat sedangkan subjek N berkeinginan meningkatkan berat badan. Self-classified weight subjek D dan subjek T memiliki bentuk badan yang gemuk sedangkan subjek N memiliki badan kurus.
English Abstract
The purpose of this study is to get an of body image tattooed women. The research is a type of qualitative research with phenomenology approach. Determination of research subjects based on purposive sampling technique and amounted to three people. Methods of data collection is using interview and observation, with interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman‘s. Based on the results of research and data analysis obtained image body image on each subject based on five dimensional body image Cash and Pruzinsky (2002). In the apperance evaluation dimension, the three subjects equally describe feelings of interest, satisfaction and comfort to the tattooed body. Subject D and subject T feel the body tattoo adds appeal in its appearance. Meanwhile, the subject of N feel tattoo adds confidence as well as identity. Apperance orientation of the three subjects have in common in an effort to improve the appearance of self-use short clothing and shorts, but subject D using short clothing on the chest while the subject N on the back. Body area satisfaction of three subjects have different satisfaction on the tattooed body parts such as the chest, thighs and arms. Overweight preocupation of subject D and subject T has anxiety as weight increases while subject N intends to increase weight. Self-classified weight subject D and subject T have a fat body shape while subject N has a thin body.
