Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan membahas mengenai pendidikan non formal yang dibangun oleh Haji Ahmad karena adanya ketidak pemerataan pembangunan di dalam desa terkait akses pendidikan. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini masyarakat mengalami kekurangan akses dalam hal pendidikan yang membuat tidak adanya kontrol sosial dan kepedulian terhadap pendidikan keluarga. Penelitian ini berfokus pada proses pemberdayaan dan hasilnya serta melihat kesadaran yang timbul di masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep mengenai pengembangan masyarakat yang diterangkan oleh Dunham. Analisis pengembangan masyarakat Dunham adalah terdapat hubungan kerjasama antara pengembang dengan masyarakat, selain itu fokus dari konsep Dunham adalah pembangunan yang menciptakan kemandirian. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kerjasama dengan para tetua dan pemuda desa, hal itu dilakukan dengan tujuan memudahkan dalam memasuki masyarakat. Proses kerjasama ini adalah konsep pengembangan masyarakat yang diterapkan oleh Dunham. Selain itu hasil dari proses pemberdayaan tersebut terdapat ketergantungan masyarakat kepada pendidikan non formal yang dibangun Haji Ahmad, hal itu dikarenakan dalam proses pemberdayaan Haji Ahmad menanamkan sifat karismatik dalam dirinya kepada masyarakat. Dengan kata lain pendidikan non formal memberdayakan masyarakat namun pada prosesnya terdapat kesadaran semu akibat dari pemberdayaan pendidikan oleh Haji Ahmad.
English Abstract
This research aims at dealing with the non formal education which was built by Haji Ahmad because of the lack of equitable development within the village of related educational access. Problems in the research community is experiencing a shortage of access in terms of education which makes the lack of social control and concern for family education. This research focuses on the empowerment process and results as well as see the consciousness arising in the community. This research uses the concept of community development which is described by Dunham. Analysis of community development cooperation relationship there is Dunham between developers with the community, other than that the focus of the concept of development is creating Dunham self-reliance. In this research uses qualitative descriptive method. The technique of data collection through interviews, observation and documentation The results of this research show that empowerment is made using the approach to cooperation with the elders and the youth of the village, it was done with the purpose of ease in entering the community. This cooperation process is the concept of community development implemented by Dunham. In addition the results of the process of empowerment is the dependence of the non formal education to communities built Haji Ahmad, it is because in the process of empowerment of Haji Ahmad in his charismatic nature imparts to the community. In other words the non formal education is empowering communities but in the process there is a pseudo consciousness resulting from empowerment education by Haji Ahmad.
