Abstract
Saat ini investor mulai peduli terhadap konsep pengelolaan lingkungan dan pengelolaan perusahaan yang baik. Oleh karena itu peranan Corporate Social Responsibility dan Good Corporate Governance dinilai sangat penting bagi perusahaan dalam meningkatkan profitabilitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing dari CSR, dewan komisaris, komisaris independen, dan kepemilikan institusional terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan BUMN yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksplanatori yang bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara dua variabel atau lebih. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik sampling jenuh dan diperoleh sebanyak 8 perusahaan BUMN. Data dikumpulkan dari laporan tahunan dan laporan keberlanjutan perusahaan serta website Bursa Efek Indonesia. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara CSR dan kepemilikan institusional terhadap profitabilitas, sedangkan dewan komisaris dan komisaris independen tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Hal ni menunjukkan bahwa struktur komisaris di dalam perusahaan belum optimal dan kinerja komisaris belum berjalan dengan baik secara keseluruhan.
English Abstract
Currently, investors are starting to care about the concept of environmental management and good corporate management. Therefore the role of Corporate Social Responsibility and Good Corporate Governance are considered very important for companies in increasing profitability. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of each of the CSR, the board of commissioners, independent commissioners, and institutional ownership on the profitability of state-owned enterprises listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The type of research is explanatory research that aims to find out the relationship between two or more variables. The sampling technique used was a saturated sampling technique and obtained as many as 8 state-owned enterprises. Data is collected from annual reports and company sustainability reports and the Indonesia Stock Exchange website. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression with SPSS program.The result of this study indicates that there is a significant influence of Corporate Social Responsibility and Institusional Ownership on profitability, while the board of commissioners and independent commissioners have no significant effect on profitability. This shows that the structure of the commissioners in the company has not been optimal and the performance of the commissioners has not run well as a whole.
