Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat penerapan akuntansi manajemen lingkungan (EMA) pada entitas bisnis UMKM. Objek yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini adalah UMKM yang berada di Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor koersif merupakan faktor yang paling dominan dalam penerapan EMA pada entitas bisnis UMKM di Jawa Timur. Faktor koersif, dalam hal tekanan yang diberikan oleh publik, mampu memberikan pengaruh terhadap penerapan EMA pada entitas bisnis UMKM. Peran penting dari pemerintah selaku pembuat aturan dan kebijakan dan masyarakat sebagai pengendali norma diperlukan sebagai penentu entitas bisnis UMKM dalam menerapkan EMA.

English Abstract

This study is aimed to analyze the determinants of environmental manajement accounting (EMA) on small medium enterprises. This study focuses on small medium enterprises specifically in East Java. This study uses quantitative research methods with the data collection technique of questionnaires. The result of this study showed that coercive factor was the most dominant factor for the application of EMA on small medium enterprises in East Java. The coercive factor, in terms of the pressure exerted by public, was able to influence the application of EMA in small medium enterprises. The important role of the government in creatingregulation policies as well as the society in controlling norms is needed as determinants of small and medium enterprises in their implementation of EMA
