Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan intensitas penggunaan Instagram dengan pengungkapan diri pada mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif korelasional. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 190 subjek yang dihitung menggunakan aplikasi G*Power dengan teknik accidental sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner intensitas penggunaan Instagram dan skala pengungkapan diri yang dimodifikasi dari penelitian sebelumnya. Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik korelasi product momentpearson. Hasil penelitian dengan analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,213 dengan tingkat signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,003, artimya terdapat hubungan positif antara intensitas penggunaan Instagram dengan pengungkapan diri pada mahasiswa, sehingga semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan Instagram, maka semakin tinggi pengungkapan diri yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa.
English Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between intensity of Instagram with college stuedent self disclosure. The method used is correlational quantitative. The subjects of this study were 190 college student and were obtained by G*Power using accidental sampling technique. This research used the questionnaire of intensity using of Instagram and modified self disclosure scale from previous research. Data analysis using statistical technique of product moment pearson correlation. Research results with statistical analysis suggest that the coefficient of a ratio 0,213 to the significance (p) of the significance of 0,003, means a positife relation between the intensity of the Instagram with self disclosure to college student, the higher intensity of using Instagram, then the higher self disclosure to college student.
