Abstract

Beton dikenal sebagai material bangunan yang paling populer, tersusun dari beberapa material yaitu semen, air, dan batuan (agregat). Beton umumnya digabungkan dengan material yang lain, seperti baja tulangan yang memiliki kekuatan tarik yang besar. Penggunaan beton yang berlebihan menyebabkan bahan-bahan penyusun beton dan tulangan baja menjadi mahal dan langka. Pemanfaatan dari agregat daur ulang dan tulangan bambu diharapkan dapat dijadikan suatu alternatif untuk mengurangi penggunaan bahan-bahan penyusun beton yang berasal dari alam serta menurunkan biaya konstruksi sebuah bangunan menjadi lebih murah namun tetap kuat dan aman untuk digunakan Pada penelitian ini terdapat dua jenis agregat kasar yang dipakai yaitu agregat kasar normal dan agregat kasar daur ulang. Penelitian yang dilakukan dengan pembuatan benda uji silinder dengan dimensi 15 x 30 cm dan balok beton bertulang dengan dimensi 0,15 x 0,25 x 1,6 meter. Semua benda uji dilakukan perawatan selama 14 hari dan dilakukan pengujian pada saat umur 28 hari. Bambu dengan perlakuan khusus digunakan sebagai tulangan balok beton. Pengujian yang akan dilakukan yaitu uji kuat lentur, lendutan. Untuk silinder beton dilakukan pengujian kuat tekan dan modulus elastisitas. Hasil dari pengujian balok beton menunjukkan bahwa beton dengan agregat kasar daur ulang memiliki nilai kuat lentur yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan beton agregat kasar normal yaitu 630 kgm dibandingkan dengan 510 kgm. Nilai lendutan yang terjadi saat beban maksimum pada balok beton agregat kasar daur ulang yaitu 7,813 mm dan nilai lendutan pada balok beton agregat kasar normal yaitu 3,987 mm. Hasil dari pengujian kuat tekan silinder beton menunjukkan nilai kuat tekan beton agregat kasar normal lebih tinggi dibandingkan beton agregat kasar daur ulang yaitu 29,337 MPa dan 28,969 MPa. Dengan nilai modulus elastisitas pada beton agregat kasar daur ulang sebesar 39868,1667 MPa dan beton agregat kasar normal sebesar 42431,6667 MPa.

English Abstract

Concrete is known as the most popular building material, consists of several materials such as cement, water and rocks (aggregate). Concrete is generally combined with other materials such as steel reinforcement which has a high tensile strength. The use of excessive concrete causes the constituent materials of concrete and steel reinforcement to be expensive and scarce. It is hoped that the use of recycled aggregates and bamboo reinforcement can be used as an alternative to reduce the use of concrete constituents derived from nature and reduce the construction cost of a building to be cheaper but still strong and safe to use. In this study there were two types of coarse aggregates used, that is normal coarse aggregate and recycled coarse aggregate. This Research conducted with manufacture cylinder with dimension 15 x 30 cm and reinforced concrete beam with dimension 0.15 x 0.25 x 1,6 meters as object test. All tests performed maintenance for 14 days and do the testing at the time aged 28 days. Bamboo with special treatment is used as reinforcement of concrete beam. Tests to be carried out are flexural strength, deflection test. For concrete cylinders the compressive strength and modulus of elasticity are tested. The results of concrete beam testing show that recycled coarse aggregate concrete has a higher value of flexural strength compared to normal coarse aggregate concrete, which is 630 kgm compared to 510 kgm. The deflection (P Maximum) value thar occurs in recycled coarse aggregate concrete beams is 7,813 mm and the value of normal concrete beam deflection is 3,987 mm. The results of testing of concrete cylinder compressive strength showed that the compressive strength of normal coarse aggregate concrete was higher than recycled coarse aggregate, which was 29,337 MPa and 28,969 MPa. The modulus of elasticity in recycled coarse aggregate concrete is 39868,1667 MPa and normal coarse aggregate concrete is 42431,6667 MPa.
