Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan apakah terdapat pengaruh pada seleksi karir sebagai akuntan public maupun non akuntan publik(akuntan pendidik, internal akuntan dan akuntan pemerintah)yang akan ditinjau dari factor penghargaan finansial, pengakuan profesional, nilai-nilai sosial, pertimbangan pasar kerjadan nilai intrinsic pekerjaan. Objek dalam studi ini adalah 46 mahasiswa akuntansi di Fakultas Ekonomi dan BisnisUniversitas Brawijaya dari 2012 sampai 2016. Pilihan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan sampel proporsional yang berdasar pada varietas data.Dalam hal ini analisis data dilaksanakan menggunakan studites multiple regresi untuk menguji variable independendan variable dependen. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak adanya pengaruh pada pemilihankarir diempat variable termasuk penghargaan finansial, pengakuan profesional, nilai social dan pertimbangan pasar kerja sedangkan dalam nilai intrinsic pekerjaan terdapat pengaruh, dalam pilihan karir mahasiswa akuntansi sebagai Akuntan public maupun non akuntan public seperti,internal akuntan,akuntan pendidik, dan akuntan pemerintah karena nilai uji T kurang dari.nilai signifikannya.
English Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine factors influencing career selection of the student being public accountant or non-public accountant (accountant’seducators, internal accountant and government accountants).The influencing factors include financial rewards, professional recognition, social values, labor market considerations and intrinsic value of job. The object in this study is 46 Accounting students inFaculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya from batch 2012 to 2016. The sample selection uses proportionated sampling based on the variety of degree. The data analysis usesmultiple regressiontests to test independent variable and dependent variable. The results of this study indicate that there is no influence on the career selection includes four variables consist of financial reward, professional recognition, social values, labor market considerations, while intrinsic values of job influence on the selection career as public accountant or non public accountant because the score of T test is less than significant value.
