Abstract
Teknologi kamera saat ini sudah banyak digunakan baik dalam dunia perfilman maupun dunia robotika. Pengembangan pada teknologi kamera terus dilakukan hingga saat ini. Motion capture system merupakan sebuah sistem yang merekam gerakan seseorang atau obyek yang sedang bergerak. Proses motion capture pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan sebuah kamera yang diletakkan secara statis. Penelitian ini akan membahas tentang lengan robot yang dikontrol dengan motion capture system. Motion capture system dilakukan dengan menggunakan webcam kemudian hasil motion capture dikirim ke mikrokontroler melalui laptop. Webcam digunakan untuk menangkap pergerakan lengan pengguna dan laptop digunakan untuk mengonversi hasil pergerakan menjadi data sudut. Data sudut dikirim ke mikrokontroler melalui USB to Serial. Lengan robot yang akan dirancang hanya memiliki satu DOF (Degree Of Freedom) dimana DOF terletak pada bagian pundak.
English Abstract
Camera technology is now used in the world of cinema or the world of robotics. Development on camera technology continues to be done today. Motion capture system is a system that records the movement of a person or object that is moving. Motion capture process in this research is done by using a camera that is placed statically. This research explain about robot’s arm which controlled by motion capture system. Motion capture system is done by using webcam then the result of system is sent to microcontroller via laptop. Webcam is used to capture movement of user’s arm and laptop is used to convert the movement to angle. The movement angle is transmitted to microcontroller by USB to Serial. Robot’s arm only has one DOF (Degree of Freedom) which located on the shoulder.
