Abstract

Laboratorium proses manufaktur Teknik Mesin di Universitas Brawijaya masih menggunakan sistem manual dalam melakukan Manajemen preventive maintenance. Sistem manual dapat diartikan aplikasi komputer masih sebatas word prosesor (ibarat mesin tik) dan spread sheet (ibarat kalkulator), belum memanfaatkan database. Hal ini menyebabkan kesulitan bagi Manager atau Kepala Laboratorium untuk mengakses data dan untuk memperoleh informasi yang dibutuhkan dalam rangka mengambil keputusan tentang penjadwalan perawatan mesin. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Perawatan yang merupakan integrasi ilmu database, preventive maintenance dan mesin-mesin perkakas. Database dipergunakan untuk menyimpan file-file: mesin, teknisi, sparepart dan jadwal. Jadwal perawatan mesin dilandasi filosofi preventive maintenance. Langkah desainnya mengetrapkan langkah pengembangan prototype. Tools yang digunakan Microsoft Access 2016 . Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, Sistem Informasi Manajemen Perawatan dapat menghasilkan laporan rekapan, laporan harian, peringatan stock sparepart, tools dan menu pencarian, sehingga dapat membantu Kepala laboratorium untuk mengelola manajemen perawatan mesin secara efektip dan effisien.

English Abstract

Laboratory of manufacturing process of Mechanical Engineering at University Brawijaya still use manual system in doing preventive maintenance management. Manual system can be interpreted computer application is still limited to word processor (like typewriter) and spread sheet (like calculator), not yet utilize database. This causes difficulties for the Manager or Head of the Laboratory to access the data and to obtain the information needed in order to make decisions about scheduling machine maintenance. Therefore, it is necessary Maintenance Management Information System which is integration of database science, preventive maintenance and machine tools. The database is used to store files: machines, technicians, spare parts and schedules. Machine maintenance schedule is based on preventive maintenance philosophy. The design step protects the prototype development step. Tools used by Microsoft Access 2016. Based on the test results, Maintenance Management Information System can generate recap reports, daily reports, stock spare parts warning, tools and search menu, so it can help the Head of the laboratory to manage the management of effective and efficient maintenance of the machine.
