English Abstract
The Progo River is one of the big rivers in the Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) which is a mainstay of water resources in the Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta . In addition to the use of water sources, the Progo River also receives material from the eruption of Mount Merapi. The existence of this sand material makes legal and illegal mining resources that bring separate consequences for buildings or infrastructure along the Progo River. Decrease in building function can occur during the rainy season with too much sediment which also results in sedimentation at the bottom of the channel. At the moment, the Kamijoro main system has a problem in the intake of Kamijoro, namely the occurrence of Progo River sediment closure in the intake mouth which is likely to threaten the function of the Kamijoro intake. Seeing the potential and problems that exist in the irrigation area, it is very necessary to modify the Kamijoro free intake building such as by building a Kamijoro dam in the form of a weir and a barrage to protect the Kamijoro intake and channel. irrigation so that system functions can be optimized. This study aims to determine the hydraulics and sedimentation conditions of existing rivers, weirs, and barrage so that alternative weirs that are suitable for application can be selected in terms of hydraulics and sedimentation studies. From the simulation results of the HEC-RAS 5.0.3 program, it shows that the existing capacity of the river is still able to accommodate the Q100 discharge, for the river with the weir still unable to accommodate the Qioo discharge, and for the river with the barrage still able to accommodate the Q100 discharge with the operation of the gates when the flood is opened full. At the average discharge, the water level in the upstream of the barrages main gates is set to a normal water level (+24.5). While the intake of the weir and the barrage is opened in accordance with the total discharge of need water. Sediment volume in the existing river in upstream as planned weir is 143448.30 m3, the river with weir in upstream as planned weir is 333675.77 m3, and on the river with barrage in upstream as planned barratze is 261388.75 m3. Based on the analysis of hydraulics and sediment that has been done, so that in Planning it is recommended to use barrage.
