Abstract
Kabupaten Temanggung, Jawa tengah merupakan salah satu daerah penghasil tembakau. Tembakau Temanggung mempunyai kualitas rasa, aroma yang khas. Namun pada tahun 2015 Kabupaten Temanggung hanya mampu menyediakan 6,92 ton/tahun tembakau. Rendahnya produksi tembakau dikarenakan menurunnya tingkat kesuburan tanah yang berakibat pada produksi tanaman tembakau. Penambahan pupuk organik dan nitrogen diduga akan mampu meningkatkan kesuburan, kulitas dan mutu tembakau. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober hingga Desember 2017, pengambilan contoh tanah dilakukan di Desa Glapansari, Kecamatan Parakan, Kabupaten Temanggung. Pengambilan contoh tanaman dan tanah di tentukan berdasarkan rancangan Split Plot Design dengan petak utama adalah sumber bahan organik yang terdiri dari pupuk kandang dan vermikompos dan anak petak adalah dosis nitrogen yang terdiri atas N1 = 90 kg N/ha, N2 = 120 kg N/ha, dan N3 = 150 kg N/ha, dengan tiga kali ulangan sehingga jumlah total unit percobaan adalah 2 x 3 x 3 = 18. Sebelum melakukan penelitian, dilakukan analisis tanah awal meliputi pH serta kandungan hara N, P dan K. Sampel tanah diambil pada lapisan olah yang dilakukan secara acak. Pengambilan sampel tanaman sebanyak 10 tegakan perplot yang dilakukan secara acak. Dosis vermikompos dan pupuk kandang adalah 22,5 ton/ha. Masing-masing perlakuan mendapatkan 100 kg SP-36/ha(36 kg P2O5) dan 100 kg ZK/ha (45 kg K2O). Varietas tembakau yang diuji adalah Kemloko 2. Selanjutnya contoh terganggu dianalisis pH tanah, C-Organik, N-Total, P-Total, dan K-Total, sedangkan contoh tanah tidak terganggu dianalisis berat isi tanah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pupuk organik dan dosis nitrogen meningkatkan kesuburan tanah yang tidak signifikan. Oleh karena itu masih perlu di lakukan penelitian lanjutan terkait dengan kualitas dan mutu tembakau serta rekomendasi untuk petani melakukan budidaya tembakau dengan menggunakan pupuk vermikompos dengan penambahan pupuk nitrogen sebanyak 90 kg/ha sehingga dapat menghemat biaya produksi tembakau
English Abstract
Temanggung Regency, Central Java is one of the tobacco producing regions. Temanggung Tobacco has a quality taste, a distinctive aroma. But in 2015 Temanggung District was only able to provide 6.92 tons / year of tobacco. The low production of tobacco is due to the decreasing level of soil fertility that results in the production of tobacco plants. The addition of organic fertilizer and nitrogen is expected to increase fertility, quality and quality of tobacco. The research was carried out from October to December 2017, taking soil samples in Glapansari Village, Parakan District, Temanggung Regency. Sampling of plants and soil was determined based on the Split Plot Design design with the main plot was the source of organic material consisting of manure and vermicompost and subplots were nitrogen doses consisting of N1 = 90 kg N / ha, N2 = 120 kg N / ha , and N3 = 150 kg N / ha, with three replications so that the total number of experimental units is 2 x 3 x 3 = 18. Before conducting the research, initial soil analysis includes pH and nutrient content of N, P and K. Soil samples were taken on the processing layer that is done randomly. Sampling of plants as much as 10 plots stands which were randomly carried out. The dosage of vermicompost and manure is 22.5 tons / ha. Each treatment received 100 kg SP-36 / ha (36 kg P2O5) and 100 kg ZK / ha (45 kg K2O). The tobacco varieties tested were Kemloko 2. Furthermore disturbed samples were analyzed for soil pH, COrganic, N-Total, P-Total, and K-Total, while samples of undisturbed soil were analyzed for soil weight. The results showed that the use of organic fertilizers and nitrogen doses increased insignificant soil fertility. Therefore, further research is still needed related to the quality and quality of tobacco and recommendations for farmers to cultivate tobacco by using vermicompost fertilizer by adding nitrogen fertilizer as much as 90 kg / ha so as to save the cost of tobacco production.
