Abstract
Website EVENTMALANG merupakan sebuah media untuk memberitakan informasi seputar pagelaran acara di Malang, Batu, dan sekitarnya yang beralamat di www.eventmalang.net. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana cara meningkatkan level usability website menggunakan kuesioner WEBUSE yang memiliki 4 kategori Content, Organisation and Readability, Navigation and Links, User Interface Design dan Performance and Effectiveness yang diberikan kepada 30 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pembuatan desain solusi menerapkan pendekatan Human Centered Design (HCD) dan kemudian dilakukan kembali evaluasi pada desain solusi. Hasil dari evaluasi desain solusi menunjukkan peningkatan tertinggi yaitu pada kategori User Interface Design yang mengalami kenaikan 0,103. Diikuti dengan Navigation and Links mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,086. Content, Organisation and Readability mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,065, dan Performance and Effectiveness mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,055
English Abstract
EVENTMALANG website is a media for reporting information about event performances in Malang, Batu, and its surroundings which is located at www.eventmalang.net. This study discusses how to increase the level of usability website using the WEBUSE questionnaire which has 4 categories of Content, Organization and Readability, Navigation and Links, User Interface Design and Performance and Effectiveness which are given to 30 respondents with purposive sampling technique. Solution design making applies the Human Centered Design (HCD) approach and then evaluates the solution design again. The results of the solution design evaluation showed the highest increase in the category of User Interface Design that experienced an increase of 0.103. Followed by Navigation and Links an increase of 0.086. Content, Organization and Readability has increased by 0.065, and Performance and Effectiveness has increased by 0.055.
