Abstract
masalah ketika data dari middleware tidak dapat diteruskan ke media penyimpanan karena masih terletak pada jaringan intranet. Masalah tersebut dapat diatasi dengan menambahkan internet gateway device agar sistem yang telah bekerja pada jaringan intranet dapat mengirimkan data ke jaringan internet yang lebih luas. Dengan menambahkan modul GSM pada internet gateway device penelitian sebelumnya, penelitian ini mengusulkan dua skenario penerimaan dan pengiriman data berbasis koneksi GPRS. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa internet gateway device dapat diterapkan menggunakan koneksi GPRS dengan rata-rata throughput untuk skenario pengiriman pertama sebesar 915,05 bps dan skenario kedua sebesar 347,75 bps.
English Abstract
Implementation of IoT system for monitoring office environment faces a problem when data from the middleware can't be forwarded to data storage located on the internet because it still located in the intranet network. This problem can be solved by adding an internet gateway device so that the previous system can communicate with a wider internet network. In this research, a GSM module added to the internet gateway device from previous work and also two scenarios are proposed for collecting and sending data with GPRS connection. The results show that internet gateway device can be implemented with GPRS connection with average throughput for the first scenario is 893,67 bps and for the second scenario is 347,75 bps.
