Abstract
Kontrak kerja, kekerasan dari majikan, kondisi kesehatan dan permasalahan keluarga menjadi alasan bagi Pekerja Migran Wanita (PMW) kembali ke kampung halamannya. Ketika purna, PMW tersebut akan mengalami kesulitan dalam menemukan pekerjaan yang baru. Pekerja Migran Wanita (PMW) purna yang tidak memiliki pekerjaan cenderung berdampak buruk bagi perekonomian keluarga, karena saat menjadi PMW mereka menjadi tumpuan perekonomian di keluarga. Sektor informal seperti membuka usaha ekonomi produktif menjadi pilihan bagi PMW purna karena rendahnya penyerapan tenaga kerja. Keberhasilan suatu usaha tidak akan tercipta jika masyarakat memiliki pola pemikiran yang individual. Modal finansial menjadi modal yang sangat penting dalam usaha ekonomi produktif, namun kenyataannya pengembangan usaha ekonomi produktif juga memerlukan modal sosial. Pendekatan penelitan ini adalah studi kasus dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Analisis usaha ekonomi produktif dan modal sosial PMW purna menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan Gender Analysis Framework (GFA). Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Majangtengah, Kecamatan Dampit, Kabupaten Malang. Sebanyak 16 informan memiliki usaha ekonomi produktif yang dikembangkan sendiri maupun bersama seperti home industry, toko/kios, jasa, pertanian dan peternakan. Penelitian ini menemukan terdapat tiga modal sosial yaitu bonding, bridging, dan linking. Penelitian ini juga menemukan peran modal sosial bagi pengembangan usaha ekonomi produktif yaitu peningkatan kepercayaan diri, kemudahan berbisnis dan efektivitas kerja.
English Abstract
Employment contracts, employer violence, health conditions and family problems are the reasons for female migrant workers (PMW) returning to their hometowns. When they are retire, the PMW will find it difficult to find a new job. Full-time Migrant Workers (PMW) who are unemployed are likely to have a negative impact on the family economy, because when they become PMW they become the foundation of the family economy. The informal sector such as opening a productive economic enterprise becomes an option for the full PMW due to the low absorption of manpower. The success of a business will not be created if society has an individual mindset. Financial capital becomes a very important capital in a productive economic enterprise, but in reality the development of productive economic enterprises also require social capital. This research approach is case study using qualitative research method. Analysis of productive economic enterprises and social capital PMW Purna using descriptive analysis and Gender Analysis Framework (GFA). The research was conducted in Majangtengah Village, Dampit District, Malang Regency. A total of 16 informants have a productive economic business developed jointly or jointly such as home industry, shops, services, agriculture and animal husbandry. This study found there are three social capital that is bonding, bridging, and linking. This study also found the role of social capital for the development of productive economic enterprises that is increased confidence, ease of doing business and work effectiveness.
