Abstract
Sistem Tracer Study adalah sistem yang menghubungkan antara mahasiswa yang sudah lulus dari suatu instansi pendidikan dengan alumni yang lain sehingga memiliki hubungan antara satu alumni dan alumni yang lain. Alumni dapat saling memberikan informasi tentang lowongan pekerjaan kepada alumni yang lain. Alumni juga dapat memberikan informasi pekerjaan alumni saat ini, serta alumni dapat melihat informasi pekerjaan alumni juga. Alumni juga dapat memberikan infomasi pendidikan serta melihat informasi pendidikan yang telah diisikan oleh alumni itu sendiri. Tidak adanya aplikasi yang membantu dalam proses tracer study yang dilakukan di Fakultas Ilmu Komputer, Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB), membuat penulis berinisiatif dalam proses pengembangan aplikasi mobile tracer study dengan menggunakan platform android. Penelitian ini menggunakan SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) prototype dimana yang dituliskan pada naskah skripsi ini adalah prototype terakhir, atau prototype final. Dengan menggunakan platform firebase dan android, diharapkan sistem tracer study mampu membantu dalam proses tracer study yang dilakukan di FILKOM UB, dengan hasil pengujian usabilitas 75, dalam rentang 0 – 100 termasuk kedalam kualifikasi yang cukup baik, kemudian hasil pengujian fungsionalitas dan kompatibilitas yang dihasilkan oleh aplikasi tracer study mampu mencapai nilai sempurna pada sistem operasi nougat dan marsmallow.
English Abstract
Tracer study system is a system that connects students who have graduated from educational institution with their friends who have graduated, which call as alumni. Alumni can give each other information about job vacancy to other alumni, the alumni can also provide information on current alumni work. Alumni can view information on alumni’s work as well, then alumni can also provide educational information and view educational information that has been filled by the alumni themselves. There is no application that helps in the process of tracer study conducted in Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB), make the author the initiative in the process of developing mobile tracer study application using android platform. This study uses SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) of prototype, which is written on the script of this thesis is the last prototype, or the final prototype. By using the firebase and android platform, it is expected that the tracer study system can assist in the process of tracer study in FILKOM UB, with the result of the usability test is 75 (in range 0 – 100) included in the qualification is good enough, the result of functionality and compatibility generated by tracer study application capable of achieving perfect value on nougat and marsmallow operating system.
