Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran orientasi kewirausahaan dalam peningkatan kinerja perusahaan, baik hubungan langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui perencanaan strategis. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga ingin mengetahui peran ketidakpastian lingkungan sebagai variabel moderasi yang mempengaruhi hubungan orientasi kewirausahaan dan perencanaan strategis terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh industri kecil pengolahan jus markisa di Kota Makassar yang jumlahnya sebanyak 56 perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sensus. Model analisis yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Model yang berbasis pada Variance Based yaitu Partial Least Square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, orientasi kewirausahaan secara langsung tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan, sedangkan pengaruh tidak langsung justeru signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui mediasi perencanaan strategis. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa orientasi kewirausahaan yang baik mampu meningkatkan intensitas perencanaan strategis serta memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kinerja industri kecil pengolahan jus markisa di Kota Makassar. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa, ketidakpastian lingkungan sebagai variabel moderasi memperkuat hubungan orientasi kewirausahaan dan perencanaan strategis terhadap peningkatan kinerja perusahaan. Oleh karena, pengaruh langsung orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja tidak signifikan dengan demikian efek moderasi ketidakpastian lingkungan dikategorikan sebagai moderasi murni. Sedangkan pengaruh langsung perencanaan strategis terhadap kinerja perusahaan menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan, sehingga efek moderasi ketidakpastian lingkungan dikategorikan sebagai moderasi semu.
English Abstract
The research aims to investigate the direct and indirect effect of entrepreneurial orientation on the firm performance with strategic planning as mediation variable. The research aims also to investigate and examine the moderating effect of environmental uncertainty, in the context of influence of entrepreneurial orientation towards the firm performance. The research population are 45 Passion Fruit Juice Industry in Makassar. Census sampling is employed as the sampling technique of the research. Partial Least Square Technique is performed for data analysis purpose. The research result shows entrepreneurial orientation has direct influence on firm performance significantly similarly indirect influence of planning toward firm performance through strategic planning as mediation variable. These result indicate that high entrepreneurial orientation affect positive to the firm performance of the fruit juice industry in the Makassar. The influence of the environmental uncertainty as the moderation variable strengthens the relationship among the entrepreneurial orientation and strategic planning on the firm performance. The result shows that pure moderation is established in this research because the direct effect of entrepreneurial orientation on performance is not significant. Meanwhile, the result also shows that the effect of strategic planning on firm performance is significant, its shows that moderating effect of environmental uncertainty can be categorized as a false moderation.
