Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji dan menjelaskan perbedaan orientasi manajer atas tanggung Jawab Sosial dan tipologi manajer dan pengaruhnya terhadap efektivitas pelaksanaan tanggung Jawab Sosial Perusahaan. Selain itu juga mempunyai tujuan memperkaya bukti empiris pada teori Stakeholder . Riset dilakukan pada PT.Sido Muncul. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian positivis (kwantitatif). Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang bersumber dari jawaban responden atas kuesener yang diberikan mereka berjumlah 51 orang. Tehnik analisa data menggunakan Regresi Logistik untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara orientasi manajer atas CSR dengan efektivitas pelaksanaan CSRnya dan two Independent t-test digunakan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan orientasi manajer pada level atas dan menengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan orientasi ekonomik manajer antara manajer level atas dengan menengah. Demikian juga untuk Orientasi etik dan orientasi diskresi. Lain halnya dengan orientasi Legal manajer atas CSR yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara manajer level atas dengan menengah. Hasil pengaruh secara simultan antara orientasi manajer atas CSR dan tipologi manajer menunjukkan adanya kecenderungan berpengaruh yang signifikan terhadap efektivitas pelaksanaan CSR nya,
English Abstract
The objective of this study is to analyze the effect of manager orientation concerning to the corporate social responsibility and manager typology towards the effectiveness of corporate social responsibility (CSR) implementation and to find out whether there is a difference of manager orientation on a managerial level (Top and Middle). This research uses a survey method in collecting data towards the managers involved in the activity of corporate social responsibility in Sido Muncul Ltd. Fifty one (51) respondents had been chosen using purposive sampling. Data have been analyzed using Logistic Regression to find out the effect among variables and two Independent t-test to find out the difference of manager orientation on managerial level (Top and Middle). Findings of this study is that no economic orientation difference, ethic orientation and manager discresionary orientation between top and middle level manager. While, the manager legal orientation shows a significant difference between top and middle level manager. Result of the effect between manager orientation concerning to the corporate social responsibility and manager typology simultaneously shows that there is a tendency to have a significant effect towards the effectiveness of corporate social responsibility implementation. This research is a case study implemented in Sido Muncul Ltd., so the result of this research is still limited to the situation and the condition in Sido Muncul Ltd. Therefore, for further research, it could be developed to the same corporations or other in order to get more understanding about the effect of manager orientation concerning to the corporate social responsibility, employee typology and the effetiveness of corporate social responsibility implementation. Recommendation to the Sido Muncul Ltd. to sosialize and give an understanding to all managerial levels about values, vision and program objective of corporate social responsibility and evaluate the programs of implemented social responsibility, so that this could give a good learning and increasing quality of further activity.
