Abstract

Pada tahun 1990an diterminasi manajemen berkinerja tinggi menjadi sangat populer. Manajemen berkinerja tinggi ini sering juga disebut dengan istilah praktik-praktik manajemen sumberdaya manusia strategik dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan sumberdaya manusia yang memiliki kompentensi yang tinggi, khusunya bila dipadukan dengan strategi-strategi organisasi. Selain itu, praktik manajemen sumberdaya manusia strategik dapat menciptakan perilaku sumberdaya manusia berorientasi pada pelanggan dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan pelanggan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara empiris baik hubungan langsung maupun tidak langsung pengaruh variabel praktik manajemen sumber daya manusia strategik, knowledge management , kualitas pelayanan terhadap kinerja organisasi. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah paradigma positivis. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 23 buah rumah sakit pemerintah dan swasta di Kalimantan Selatan. Responden sebanyak 115 orang yang terdiri dari pimpinan rumah sakit dan dokter serta kepala perawat dan perawat. Data primer diperoleh melalui kuesioner, metode analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Praktik manajemen sumber daya manusia strategik secara langsung tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan dan kinerja organisasi; Praktik manajemen sumberdaya manusia strategik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap knowledge management; knowledge management berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan dan kinerja organisasi; Kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi; Praktik manajemen sumberdaya manusia strategik dimediasi knowledge management dan kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi, demikian juga praktik manajemen sumberdaya manusia strategik dimediasi knowledge management berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan. Kesimpulan secara umum bahwa selama praktik manajemen sumberdaya manusia strategik mampu meningkatkan knowledge management dan kualitas pelayanan, maka kinerja organisasi semakin lebih baik. Demikian juga selama praktik manajemen sumbrdaya manusia strategik mampu meningkatkan knowledge management, maka kualitas pelayanan dapat semakin lebih baik.

English Abstract

In 1990`s,high performance management determination has become very popular. The high performance management is usually called as strategic human resource management practice, in order to increase high competent human resource capability, especially when combined with organizational strategies. Moreover, strategic human resource management practice can create customer oriented culture and has significant influence towards service quality and customer satisfaction. Purpose of the research is to empirically test either direct or indirect relationship betweenthe influence ofthe variables of strategic human resource management practice, knowledge management, service quality in organization performance. Research approach used is positivist paradigm. Units analysis in this research are 23 public and private hospital in South Kalimantan. There are 115 respondents cinsisted of hospital director, doctors, head nurses and nurses. Primary data is gathered through questionaire, data analysis methods used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this research shows that strategic human resource management practice does not have direct significant influence towards service quality and organisation performance; strategic human resource management practice have significant influence towards knowledge management; knowledge management has significant influence towards service quality and organisation performance; service quality has significant influence towards organisation performance; strategic human resource management practice mediated by knowledge management and service quality has significant influence towards organisation performance, and so strategic human resource management practice mediated by knowledge management has significant influence towards service quality. Conclusion that as long as strategic human resource management practice are able to increase knowledge management and service quality, organization performance is better. Furthermore, as long as strategic human resource management practice are able to increase knowledge management, service quality is better.
