Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan informasi tentang: Pengaruh lingkungan industri terhadap kinerja usaha; Pengaruh lingkungan industri terhadap kinerja usaha yang dimediasi oleh inovasi; Pengaruh inovasi terhadap kinerja usaha, dan Pengaruh inovasi terhadap kinerja usaha pada industri kecil tenun songket Riau yang dimoderasi oleh kebijakan pemerintah. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh usaha industri kecil tenun songket Riau di Kota Pekanbaru, Kabupaten Bengkalis, dan Kabupaten Siak yang berjumlah sebanyak 330 unit usaha. Penentuan ukuran sampel untuk masing-masing kota/kabupaten berdasarkan proportional random sampling , dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 110 unit usaha. Analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan program AMOS 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; Semakin dinamis lingkungan industri semakin baik kinerja usaha pada industri kecil tenun songket Riau; Semakin dinamis lingkungan industri semakin meningkatkan kemampun daya inovasi, selanjutnya semakin baik kinerja usaha pada industri kecil tenun songket Riau; Semakin tinggi daya inovasi pemiliki usaha semakin baik kinerja usaha pada industri kecil tenun songket Riau, dan Semakin tinggi daya inovasi, bila ada dukungan kebijakan pemerintah yang kondusif semakin baik kinerja usaha pada industri kecil tenun songket Riau.
English Abstract
The purpose of this research is to provide information on: The influence of Industrial environment toward busisess performance, The influence of industrial environment toward business performance by applying innovation as a mediating variable, The influence of innovation toward business performance and the influence of innovation toward business performance by applying government policy as a moderating variable. The population of this research were small industry especially Tenun Songket Riau in Kota Pekanbaru, Kabupaten Bengkalis, and Kabupaten Siak with number of 330 business units. The sampling method used was proportional random sampling, and sampling size as of 110 business units. The Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) data analysis wich is helped by the AMOS 16 program. The findings of this study as follows: The more dynamic industrial environment, the better the business performance of the small industry of Tenun Songket Riau; The more dynamic the industrial environment supported by innovation capability, the better the business performance of small industry Tenun Songket Riau; The higher the innovation capability of the owners, the better the business performance of small industry Tenun Songket Riau, and The higher innovation capability and supported by condusive government policy, the better business performance of small industry Tenun Songket Riau.
