Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi tentang persepsi wirausaha Muslim terhadap implementasi transaksi syariah, risiko dan kemampuan dirinya ketika melakukan pengambilan keputusan investasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menguji pengaruh implementasi transaksi syariah, persepsi risiko, sikap terhadap risiko dan overconfidence pada pengambilan keputusan investasi wirausaha Muslim . Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan positivist yang dilengkapi dengan informasi kualitatif untuk mendukung analisis kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah wirausahawan Muslim di Sidoarjo dan sampel diambil secara convenience proporsional. Pengukuran persepsi responden dilakukan melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert dan terkumpul 143 kuesioner. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam pengujian hipotesis adalah Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) . Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Penerapan asas transaksi syariah belum mendorong perilaku wirausaha muslim Sidoarjo untuk mengambil keputusan investasi. (2) Penerapan asas transaksi syariah memperjelas persepsi risiko responden. Makin tinggi implementasi Agama, orang semakin takut menghadapi risiko. (3) Penerapan asas transaksi syariah belum mampu membuat sikap terhadap risiko responden menjadi lebih risk seeker . (4) Penerapan asas transaksi syariah meningkatkan kepercayaan diri pada wirausaha dalam pengambilan keputusan berisiko. (5) Persepsi risiko belum mampu memperjelas adanya perilaku pengambilan keputusan . (6) Persepsi risiko juga belum memperjelas adanya sikap terhadap risiko apakah seorang wirausahawan menjadi risk seeker atau risk averter. Arah hubungan negatif berarti makin tinggi persepsi risiko makin rendah kecenderungan orang untuk mengambil risiko. (7) Sikap terhadap risiko (makin risk seeker ) seorang wirausaha Muslim meningkatkan perilaku pengambilan keputusan berisiko . (8) Kepercayaan diri yang berlebih mendorong intensitas perilaku pengambilan keputusan investasi. (9) Meningkatnya kepercayaan diri,mendorong sikap terhadap risiko wirausahawan menjadi lebih risk seeker. (10) Kepercayaan diri yang berlebih memperjelas adanya persepsi risiko ketika wirausahawan Muslim melakukan pengambilan keputusan .

English Abstract

This study investigate the effect of Islamic transaction principle as a proxy of religiousity, perception and attitude toward risk and overconfidence on investment decision. Those relationships are tested among Moslem entrepreneur at Sidoarjo, a small city near Surabaya that has unique characteristic. Sidoarjo has large number of Moslem entrepreneur with their tight ritual at the evening while work hard as entrepreneur in the whole days. This study using quantitative approach and attached by some Moslem entrepreneurs who lived in Sidoarjo and has running their business at least in three years. The sample identified proportional convenience way. Since the study is behavioral research, the variable measurement is using Likert schale . There are 143 respondents that fill in the questionnaire. The analyses technique is Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) . The results are (1) the implementation of Islamic transaction principle is not encourage investment decision among Moslem entrepreneur. (2) the implementation of Islamic transaction principle has significant effect on risk perception of respondent, the direction is positive means the higher the implementation of Islamic transaction principle, the more afraid on risk. (3) the implementation of Islamic transaction principle has no impact on risk attitude. (4) the implementation of Islamic transaction principle significantly caused the increasing of the overconfidence. (5) Risk perception is have no effect on investment decision behavior. (6) Risk perception is also have no effect on risk attitude. The direction of relation is negative means that the higher risk perception, the lower propensity to take a risk. (7) attitude toward risk has significant effect on investment decision behavior. (8) overconfidence push the investment decision significantly (9) the increasing of overconfidence make respondents to be more risk seeker. (10) overconfidence also has significant effect on risk perception of respondents.
