Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan studi persepsi internal perusahaan dalam bidang manajemen stratejik. Penelitian bertujuan mencari kejelasan pengaruh Teknologi Informasi (IT) kepada kinerja. Analisis pengaruh tidak langsung dikembangkan dari teori Resource-Based View dan IT Strategic Alignment. Analisis pengaruh tidak langsung dilakukan dengan menyelaraskan IT kepada tujuan bisnis melalui Kemampuan berbasis IT dan Daya Dukung IT kepada Kompetensi Inti. Analisis pengaruh langsung didasarkan kepada konsep Cobb-Douglass Production Function, dimana pengaruh sumber daya IT linier terhadap kinerja. Pendekatan penelitian adalah kuantitatif, eksplanatori. Unit analisis adalah Bank Perkreditan Rakyat sebagai representasi usaha kecil dan menengah. Responden penelitian adalah manajemen puncak atau yang mewakili, sebagai representasi pemangku kepentingan IT dan bisnis di perusahaan. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik sampling jenuh berdasarkan pendekatan syarat wilayah. Terkumpul data sebanyak 94 eksemplar sebagai sampel penelitian dari 101 populasi. Lokasi penelitian di Jawa Timur. Teknik analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan Structural Equation Modeling - GSCA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (i) Sumber daya IT memiliki pengaruh untuk membentuk kemampuan berbasis IT, (ii) Kemampuan berbasis IT memiliki pengaruh terhadap daya dukung IT kepada kompetensi inti, (iii) Daya dukung IT kepada kompetensi inti memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja, (iv) sumber daya IT memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja. Orisinalitas keterbaruan penelitian ini adalah: (i) mengintegrasikan konsep IT Strategic Alignment kedalam konsep Resource-Based View dengan menggunakan kemampuan berbasis IT dan daya dukung IT kepada kompetensi inti, (ii) membandingkan pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung sumber daya IT terhadap kinerja, (ii) pada obyek penelitian hasil perbandingan menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh langsung memiliki nilai yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan pengaruh tidak langsung, (iii) penelitian mampu menunjukkan hilangnya potensi manfaat IT pada tahapan proses bisnis perusahaan, (iv) model yang dibangun mampu menjelaskan kontribusi IT yang lebih transparan kepada pencapaian kinerja.
English Abstract
This research is an internal perception study of the company in the field of strategic management. The research aims to find clarity influence of Information Technology (IT) to the performance. The indirect effect analysis was developed from the Resource-Based View and IT Strategic Alignment theory. Indirect effect analysis was conducted by aligning IT to business objectives through IT-based capabilities and IT Support for Core Competencies. The direct effect analysis was based on the concept of Cobb-Douglass Production Function, where the influence of IT resources was linear to the performance. The research approach is a quantitative, explanatory. Rural Bank as a representation of small and medium enterprises as the unit of analysis. Top management or its representative, who acts as the IT and business stakeholders in the enterprise as research respondents. As many as 94 copies of the data collected as a sample study of 101 populations. The sampling method used was saturated sampling technique, based on a regional approach. Study site in East Java. Methods of analysis are descriptive statistics and Structural Equation Modeling - GSCA. The research results showed that: (i) IT resources have the effect to establish IT-based capabilities, (ii) IT-based capabilities have an impact on the IT Support for core competence, (iii) The IT Support for Core Competencies have an influence on Performance, (iv) IT Resources have a direct effect on Performance. The novelty and originality of this study were: (i) to integrate the concept of IT Strategic Alignment into Resource-Based View theory using IT-based capabilities and IT support for Core Competencies, (ii) to compare the direct and indirect effect of IT Resources to the Performance, (ii) the comparison at the research object indicated that the direct effect has a higher effect value than the indirect effect, (iii) the study was able to show the potential benefits lost of IT in the company business process steps, (iv) the construct model was able to explain more transparently the contribution of IT to the achievement of the performance.
