Abstract

Quality is one of problems commonly happen in production. It can be vary and affect level of product quality and service. Improving quality is needed to keep a good quality of a product. X Inc is one of a company focus on making slipper. problem is facing by company is that method use to decrease defect and waste is not effective yet. Based on problem above, a researcher conduct a research and basic concept development lean six sigma to improve quality by integrating FMEA and AHP in identifying product defect. It is hoped that X inc. can keep or maintain and improve quality in order to fulfill costumer`s need. purpose of lean six is to identify waste that happen to production process and get waste category which is effect to quality product. working process of lean six sigma is development from lean and six sigma method. lean method is used to identify waste on activity process of invaluable added for company, while six sigma is used to improve product quality by using define step, measure, analyze and improve FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) used after knowing factors which effect on failure or waste to get next recovery. By having FMEA analysis, it can be known potency of failure which need fast recovery. Risk Priority Number (RPN) is multiplication from SOD (Severity, Occurent, Detection) rating, rate is used as guidline to know most serious problem. AHP method help to do analysis systematically by grouping it into hirarki structure. main cause of failure is maun purpose level. Severity, occurance and detectability factor as a criteria level and alternative level is cause of failure which may be factors. It is arranged in hirarki structure. ranking formulation priority failure is done by helping of Analytical Hierachy Process (AHP),. It makes analysis easier and effective and efficient. highest result of evaluation variable input process of FMEA-AHP will be priority of action propose to be done. Based on result of FMEA-AHP computation, it is found that IR result is 0,0745. It means that data is consistent. While priority FMEA-AHP computation for each criteria will be used as reference in making or taking decision.
