Abstract

Persaingan semakin meningkat dalam dekade terakhir sejalan semakin banyaknya jumlah lembaga bimbingan belajar di wilayah Malang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas strategi resource-based view dan entrepreneurial skill terhadap kemampuan inovasi dan keunggulan kompetitif lembaga bimbingan belajar di wilayah Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan 134 sampel dari total 202 populasi jumlah lembaga bimbingan belajar di wilayah Malang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan memilih lembaga bimbingan belajar yang telah beroperasi minimal tiga (3) tahun, serta responden yang menjabat sebagai pengelola aktif pada masing-masing lembaga bimbingan belajar. Alat analisis penelitian ini adalah menggunakan data primer dengan metode wawancara, kuesioner, dan observasi data pendukung lainnya yang merupakan data sekunder. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa strategi resource-based view berpengaruh lebih dominan terhadap inovasi dan keunggulan kompetitif pada lembaga bimbingan belajar di wilayah Malang. Selain itu, entrepreneurial skill juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Inovasi dan Keunggulan Kompetitif lembaga bimbingan belajar di wilayah Malang. Hasil analisis data juga menyimpulkan variabel inovasi berpengaruh terhadap variabel keunggulan kompetitif pada lembaga bimbingan belajar di wilayah Malang. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai wacana lembaga bimbingan belajar di wilayah Malang untuk mengembangkan usahanya. Strategi resource-based view , entrepreneurial skill , inovasi serta keunggulan kompetitif lembaga bimbingan belajar di wilayah Malang memerlukan pengembangan terus menerus demi perbaikan mutu pendidikan non-formal dimasa mendatang.

English Abstract

Competition has increased unpredictly in early of decades in line with increasing number of course institutes in Malang area. purpose of this research is to determine relationship of resource-based view strategy and entrepreneurial skills to innovation ability and competitive advantage on course institutes in Malang area. This research using 134 samples by around 202 total population of course institutes in Malang area. study was conducted by selecting a course agency that has been operated ir organizations at least three (3) years ago, and selecting respondents who served as an active manager in each course institutes. instrument analysis of research is primary data through interviews using questionnaires, and observation for o rs supporting data as secondary datas. results of research showed that Resource-Based View strategy have a positive effect on Innovation ability and Competitive Advantage on course institutes in Malang area. Meanwhile, Entrepreneurial Skills are also have positive and significant effect to Innovation ability and Competitive Advantage on se institutes. By data, also known that Innovation variables have significant affect for Competitive Advantage variables on course institutes in Malang. This research highly recomended for course institutes in Malang area in order to expand ir business scope. relationship of resource-based view strategy and entrepreneurial skills for innovation ability and competitive advantage on course institutes in Malang area, requires continuous improvement to develop quality of non-formal education in future.
