Abstract
Pada tesis ini dibahas tentang model pertumbuhan ikan dengan melibatkan parameter baru, yakni kualitas pakan ( q ) yang ditentukan berdasarkan rasio nitrogen-karbon. Model yang dianalisis berbentuk model persamaan diferensial pertumbuhan ikan di kolam air limbah oksidasi dilihat ari aspek anabolisme dan katabolisme secara individu. Fungsi q sebanding dengan efisiensi asimilasi pakan ( b ), persentase pakan terasimilasi untuk katabolisme ( a ), dan laju asupan pakan Model pertumbuhan ikan yang dikonstruksi, diterapkan pada pertumbuhan ikan Nila tilapia ( Oreochromis niloticus ). Model pertumbuhan ikan akan melambat apabila rasio nitrogen-karbon dalam pakan lebih besar daripada rasio nitrogen-karbon yang diproduksi ikan saat nitrogen erbatas, sebaliknya akan meningkat apabila rasio nitrogen-karbon dalam pakan lebih kecil daripada rasio nitrogen-karbon yang diproduksi ikan saat nitrogen terbatas. Pertumbuhan yang elambat, juga dipengaruhi fungsi b yang relatif kecil dan nilai Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) yang cukup tinggi. Secara keseluruhan berdasarkan hasil simulasi dan observasi enambahan parameter q dapat terlihat pengaruh yang cukup bagus, dengan kondisi fungsi b ernilai besar dan nilai BOD tidak mendekati BOD max .
English Abstract
In this sis we discussed fish growth model including new parameters feed quality ( q ) are determined based on nitrogen-carbon ratio. model is analyzed in form of differential equation model of fish growth in wastewater oxidation ponds views from aspect of anabolism and catabolism individually. Function q is proportional to food assimilation efficiency ( b ), percentage of assimilated feed for catabolism ( a ), and rate of feed intake. Fish growth model are constructed, be applied to growth Nile tilapia ( Oreochromis niloticus ). Fish growth model will decrease if nitrogen-carbon ratio which is produced by fish during limited nitrogen have greater than nitrogen-carbon ratio in fish, o rwise will increase if nitrogen-carbon ratio which is produced by fish during limited nitrogen have smaller than nitrogen-carbon ratio in fish. Decreasing growth, also influenced by function b are relatively small and Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) values are enough high. Overall results of simulations and observations, parameter q has fair influence to fish growth model with condition b function has greater values, and BOD values close to BOD max values.
