Achsan (2015) Analisis Kecenderungan Sedimentasi Di Waduk Bili-Bili dalam Upaya Keberlanjutan Usia Guna Waduk. Magister thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
Bili-Bili Reservoir is one of largest reservoirs in Province of South Sulawesi which is regulated by BBWS Pompengan Jeneberang. Bili-Bili reservoirs was planned effective for 50 years, recently in 2011 ( reference of latest data) this reservoir has been in operation for 13 years since was built. In 2004 re were land slides from Mount Bawakaraeng in upstream reservoirs and causing high rates of sedimentation in reservoir. This study was conducted to determine percentage of sediment that settles in reservoir storage capacity, how is effectiveness of Bili-Bili Reservoir remaining and also efforts made to maintaining effectiveness of reservoirs. In this research, distribution pattern calculations based on actual measurement method and enlargement Empirical Area Increment Method and Empirical Area Reduction Method. effectiveness of usefull life of Bili-Bili to reservoir is calculated using two approaches, volume approach and elevation approach. Based on analisys of Sedimentation tendency which was entering in 2011 was about 84.81 million m3 of total sediments with a percentage of 79.17% was in effective storage area, 18.14% in area of dead storage and 2.69% in flood control pool. depreciation of reservoir storage capacity Bili-Bili that occurred in 2012 was about 24.37%, and it will increase about 31.62% in 2018, meanwhile in 2028 will about 39.92% and 50.33% for year 2048. Based on analysis of effectiveness life of Bili-Bili by reservoir elevation approach of +59.00, Bili-Bili reservoir has no longer effectiveness, but by using yield residual volume approach in reservoir has still effectiveness of 11.5 years. Keywords: Bili-Bili Reservoir, Sedimentation, Storage Capacity, Reservoir usefull Life.
