Abstract

Telah dilakukan penyelidikan geofisika BERDASARKAN metode geolistrik polarisasi terimbas konfigurasi pole-dipole di lapangan “X” PT . Newmont Nusa Tenggara. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menduga dan memetakan zona mineralisasi logam di lokasi tersebut sebagai tindak lanjut dari metode magnetic airborne yang sudah dilakukan sebelumnya oleh pihak perusahaan. Terdapat 7 lintasan pengukuran dengan panjang bentangan lintasan survey maksimum 2,3 km dengan spasi antar elektroda sebesar 100 m. Adapun parameter analisis dari penelitian ini ialah berdasarkan analisis chargeability dan resistivity yang dikorelasikan dengan informasi geologi regional dari daerah penelitian. Dari hasil analisis, didapatkan bahwa litologi struktur batuan bawah permukaan daerah penyelidikan diduga terdiri atas 5 satuan batuan utama yang terdiri atas satuan batulempung tuffan dengan nilai resistivity 4,21-26,5 Ωm; satuan batupasir tuffan dengan kisaran nilai resistivity 26,5-166 Ωm; satuan batugamping dengan kisaran nilai resistivity 166-1047 Ωm; satuan batuan lava breksi dengan resistivity pada range 1047-2624 Ωm; dan satuan batuan lava andesit-basalt dengan nilai resistivity 2624 Ωm. Sementara berdasarkan kelurusan dan kemenerusan anomali high chargeability yang dikorelasikan dengan anomali low resistivity menunjukkan bahwa zona mineralisasi hampir tersebar merata di semua lintasan pengukuran polarisasi terimbas dengan nilai high chargeability anomali utama berada pada range 69,7-155 msec. Terlihat bahwa kemenerusan anomali berarah barat-timur pada kedalaman ± 50-400 m.

English Abstract

Geophysical investigation s have been done using induced polarization geoelectric method pole-dipole configuration in "X" area PT. Newmont Nusa Tenggara. This study aims to estimate and map ping location of mineralized zones of metal as a follow-up of airborne magnetic method that has been done previously by company. re are 7 lines measurement with a long stretch of track survey of 2.3 km with electrode spacing of 100 m. parameters of analysis in this study based on analysis of chargeability and resistivity are correlated with regional geological information of researc h area . From analysis we found that lithology of rocks beneath surface area of investigation believed to consist of five lithologies consisting of tuffan claystone unit with resistivity values from 4.21 to 26.5 Ωm; tuffan sandstone unit with a range of 26.5 to 166 Ωm resistivity values; limestone unit with a range of 166-1047 Ωm resistivity value s ; lava breccia with resistivity in range of 1047-2624 Ωm; basalt-andesite lava with resistivity values 2624 Ωm. While based on straightness of high chargeability anomalies correlated with low resistivity anomaly indicates that mineralized zone is spread evenly distribution of lines induced polarization measurements by high chargeability anomaly primary values are in range of 69.7 to 155 msec . Forward trending anomaly was direction in east-west at depth of ± 50-400 m.
