Abstract
Tesis ini melaporkan pengembangan dan desain sistem reservasi maskapai berbasis web dari Libyan Arab Airlines dengan menggunakan metode tertentu untuk memenuhi persyaratan pengguna. Metode-metode tersebut adalah bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL yang merupakan salah satu teknologi yang paling cepat berkembang di dunia saat ini. Selain itu, menggunakan algoritma * yang telah digunakan sebagai metode pencarian untuk memberikan pelanggan yang dimaksudkan untuk menemukan tiket yang dimaksudkan untuk menemukan tiket yang dimaksudkan untuk menemukan tiket yang dimaksudkan. Menurut durasi perjalanan terpendek, jika ada transit selama penerbangan yang diinginkan. Proyek Pemesanan Maskapai Penerbangan terutama terdiri dari dua jenis pengguna, pelanggan yang mengakses informasi yang disediakan oleh situs web dan administrator yang memodifikasi dan memperbarui informasi yang tersedia di situs web. Semua data yang diperlukan untuk aplikasi disimpan dalam bentuk tabel di database MySQL.
English Abstract
This thesis reports on the development and design of a web based airline reservation system of the Libyan Arab Airlines by using certain methods to satisfy the users` requirements. Those methods are the PHP programming language and MySQL database which are one of the fastest growing technologies in today`s world.In addition, using A* algorithm which is been used as a searching method to give the customers an opportunity to find their intended tickets according to the shortest trips duration, in case there are transits during their desired flights. The Airline Reservation System project mainly consists of two types of users, The customers who access the information provided by the website and the administrator who modifies and updates the information available in the website. All the data needed for the application is stored in the form of tables in the MySQL database.
