Abstract

ujuan penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan praktek manajemen kualitas MBNQA yaitu pengaruh kepemimpinan, fokus gugus kerja, perencanaan strategis, fokus konsumen terhadap fokus operasi, PATK (Pengukuran, Analisis dan Transfer Knowledge), dan kinerja organisasi. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan explanatory. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode survei. Responden yang menjadi sampel 135 orang pimpinan yang bertanggung jawab terhadap pelaksanaan manajemen mutu perguruan tinggi. Metode analisis data adalah Partial Least Square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kepemimpinan yang baik dapat meningkatkan perencanaan strategis, fokus gugus kerja, fokus konsumen dan kinerja organisasi. Kemudian perencanaan strategi berpengaruh signifikan pada fokus operasi, namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan pada fokus gugus kerja dan fokus konsumen. Fokus gugus kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap fokus operasi dan PATK, namun pada kinerja organisasi tidak memberikan kontribusi nyata. Selanjutnya fokus konsumen berpengaruh signifikan pada fokus operasi, tetapi pada PATKtidak berpengaruh signifikan. Selain itu fokus operasi berpengaruh signifikan pada PATK dan kinerja organisasi. Kemudian PATK memberikan kontribusi nyata pada peningkatan kinerja organisasi. Akhirnya fokus operasi dan PATKberperan sebagai mediasi hubungan antara fokus gugus kerja dan fokus konsumen dengan kinerja organisasi. Implikasi praktis dapat memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman bagi pimpinan perguruan tinggi dalam meningkatkan kinerja organisasi melalui implementasi konsep manajemen kualitas MBNQA. Pentingnya manajemen kualitas pendidikan tinggi dapat dilakukan melalui tata laksana organisasi yang baik; pelaksanaan pengembangan strategis; pemberdayaan gugus kerja; mempromosikan program; sistem kerja yang baik dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan; adanya sering pengetahuan dan pencapaian hasil yang baik karena dukungan kepemimpinan. Orisinalitas penelitian ini membuktikan model konseptual tereintegrasi hubungan manajemen kualitas MBNQA. Selain itu fokus operasi dan PATK terbukti sebagai mediasi hubungan antara fokus gugus kerja dan fokus operasi dengan kinerja organisasi.

English Abstract

This study purpose was to explores relationship of MBNQA quality management practices, namely effect of leadership, workforce focus, strategic planning, customer focus to operations focus, MAKT (Measurement, Analysis and Knowledge Transfer) and organization performance. Design study used was an explanatory approach. Data was collected through survey methods. Sample of 135 respondents were leader that responsible on college quality management implementation. Data analysis used was Partial Least Square. Research results showed that good leadership can improve strategic planning, workforce focus, and customer focus and organization performance. Strategies planning have a significant effect on operation focus, but have no significant effect on workforce focus and customer focus. Workforce focus significantly affects on operations focus and MAKT, but organization performance did not make a real contribution. Customer focus has significant effect on operation focus, but MAKT had no significant effect. Operations focus has significant effect on MAKT, and organization performance. MAKT contribute significantly to improved organization performance. Finally, operation focus and MAKT mediate relationship of workforce focus and customer focus on organization performance. This research can provide practical implication to enrich knowledge and understanding for university leaders to improve organization performance through MBNQA quality management concepts implementation. Importance of quality management for college can be done through organization good governance; implementation of strategic development; workforce empowerment; promote programs; good work system to improve education quality; knowledge improvement and good result achievement was caused by leadership support. This study originality was to demonstrate an integrated conceptual model of MBNQA quality management relationship. In addition, operation focus and MAKT was proved to mediate relationship between workforce focus and operations focus with organization performance.
