Abstract
Perkembangan se k tor industr i di Kabupaten Tuban mempunyai pengaruh terhadap lingkungan disekitarnya selain pembangunan kelengkapan infrastuktur yang dapat menunjang usaha-usaha produksi di kawasan industry ini, pengembangan sektor industr i akan membuka lapangan kerja baru. Untuk bekerja di suatu pabrik/industry, pekerja tentu saja harus memiliki keahlian dan keterampilan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menyiapkan kebutuhan sumberdaya manusia dalam memenuhi kebutuhan industry di kabupaten Tuban adalah dengan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Baik melalui jalur formal maupun jalur non formal. Studi yang berjudul Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Kompetensi Siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik kompetensi siswa SMK dan Mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kompetensi siswa SMK. Hasil yang diperoleh dari studi tersebut adalah Pendidikan orang tua siswa SMK Negeri 1 Tuban terbanyak adalah lulusan SMA dengan prosentase 70,13%, Pekerjaan orang tua siswa SMK Negeri 1 Tuban terbanyak adalah 45,45% sebagai PNS/BUMN/TNI/POLRI, Jarak antara sekolah dari rumah ditempuh siswa adalah 6-10 Km (35%), Moda transportasi yang digunakan siswa sekolah sebanyak 34% menggunaka n sepeda motor, Hasil nilai ebtanas terbesar siswa SMK Negeri 1 Tuban yaitu nilai 9 sebanyak 42%, Dukungan orang tua terhadap program keahlian siswa di SMK sebanyak 90%, Siswa SMK Negeri 1 Tuban menyukai program yang ada di SMK sebesar 53%, dan Tindakan yang akan dilakukan Siswa SMK Negeri 1 Tuban setelah lulus SMK adalah bekerja ( 74 %) dan tujuh faktor yang mempengaruhi kompetensi siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan di SMK Negeri Tuban, dengan memiliki nilai eigen dan nilai keragaman faktor yang terbesar yaitu 26,789 % sehingga memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap kompetensi siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan di SMK Negeri Tuban yaitu Faktor Motivasi Siswa terdiri dari Penilaian terhadap minat siswa, Penilaian terhadap dukungan keluarga, Penilaian terhadap tujuan belajar di SMK, Penilaian terhadap sikap guru, Penilaian terhadap pekerjaan di industri, dan Penilaian terhadap fasilitas di industri.
English Abstract
Development of industrial sektor in Tuban district have an influence on the surrounding environment in addition to the construction of infrastructure that can support the completeness of efforts in the production of this industry, the development of industrial sektor will create new jobs. In order to work in a factory or industry, of course workers should have the expertise and skills. One effort to do to prepare human resource needs in meeting the needs of industry in Tuban district is to improve the quality of education. Both through formal and non formal channels. The study titled Factors Affecting Competence Vocational High School Students aims to Know the characteristics of students vocational competence and Knowing the factors that influence the competence of vocational students. Results obtained from these studies is the education of parents of SMK Negeri 1 Tuban were most high school graduates is about 70.13%, The work of parents SMK Negeri 1 Tuban was most 45.45% as a civil servant / state / army / police, The distance between the schools of the house taken by students is 60-10 km (35%), Modes of transportation used school students as much as 34% use the bike, the largest student results EBTANAS value SMK Negeri 1 Tuban is 9 by 42%, support of parents of students in vocational skills programs as much as 90%, SMK Negeri 1 Tuban Students like the programs was 53%, and the action after graduated from SMK is a vocational school to work (74%). and the seven factors that influence the competence of vocational high school students in SMK Tuban, by having the eigenvalues and the diversity of the biggest factors is 26.789, thus have considerable influence on the competence of vocational high school students in the Vocational School Student Motivation Factors Tuban which consists of assessment of student interest, assessment of family support, assessment of learning in the vocational goal, assessment of the attitudes of teachers, assessment of the work in the industry, and assessment of the facilities in the industry.
