Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung komitmen organisasional, kompetensi individu, dan organisasi pembelajar, terhadap kinerja guru sekolah dasar (SD) di Kota Ternate. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 118 responden, metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling , pendekatan penelitian bersifat penelitian eksplanatori, variabel diukur dengan skala Likert, dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis jalur ( Path analysis ) dengan bantuan SPSS versi 15.0. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa komitmen organisasional, kompetensi individu, dan organisasi pembelajar berpengaruh langsung signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja guru. Disamping itu hasil penelitian juga mengkonfirmasi bahwa pengaruh komitmen organisasional terhadap kinerja guru melalui organisasi pembelajar cukup signifikan dan positif; dan pengaruh kompetensi individu terhadap kinerja guru melalui organisasi pembelajar juga cukup signifikan dan positif. Implikasi praktis penelitian ini adalah bahwa setiap sekolah tentunya memiliki strategi untuk meningkatkan kinerja gurunya, sehingga setiap guru harus terus berupaya membangun, meningkatkan, dan mempertahankan komitmen organisasional yang tinggi, dan terus mengembangkan kompetensi individunya, dengan strategi meciptakan organisasi pembelajar, sehingga mampu meningkatkan kinerja guru.
English Abstract
The objective of research is to analyze direct and indirect influences of organizational commitment, individual competence, and learning organization, on performance of elementary school teachers in Ternate City. The sample of research is 118 respondents. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Research type is explanatory. Variables are measured in Likert scale. Hypothesis testing uses path analysis supported by SPSS version 15.0. The result of analysis indicates that organizational commitment, individual competence, and learning organization, has a direct, significant and positive influence on teacher performance. Indeed, result of research also confirms that the influence of organizational commitment on teacher performance through learning organization is quite significant and positive, and the influence of individual competence on teacher performance through learning organization is also quite significant and positive. The practical implication of this research is that every school organization has a strategy to improve teacher performance such that a teacher must build, improve, and maintain high organizational commitment, and continually develop individual competence with a strategy of creating learning organization such that it will then improve teacher performance.
