Abstract

Indonesia`s strong determination to be development country deals 2 main challenges. The both are health acces equity and education. The government is imposing The National Health Security 2014 as the solution for health inequity acces problem. The imposing of the National Health Security through Social Security Administrator (BPJS) lead to perceived impact by health service actors : public hospitals and private. Both the public hospitals and the private-the provider of National Health Security service, have increased provit. it is different from the private hospitals which are non BPJS provider, the non premium. The aims of this study are (1) to obtain description of the X Hospital`s condition within pre JKN periode till present time; (2) to explore the X hospital`s view on the BPJS/JKN associate with the hospital survival; (3) to explore the X hospital`s management strategy as a respon of JKN/BPJS imposing. The research employs qualitative methode, with case study approach. Datas are collected from 5 informans. The datas processed through data reduction, data display, and intepretation. The research result shows 1) the imposing of BPJS/JKN and the instability of internal condition of the hospital, are lead to the first time crisis since the hospital establishment.2) BPJS/JKN imposement is not a significant threat, rather it contains chance for the hospital. 3) Its strategy are optimistic and independent; utilization of quality concept as consumer`s feeling experience; middle-low-end class targeting and also cost leadership. The recommendation are crisis management implementation, optimistic controlling, deep fathom of consumer`s satisfaction; target widening, effective distribution channel, and re-positioning.
