Abstract
Industri senjata pendukung industri militer yang berpeluang besar untuk dikembangkan menjadi pusat unggulan teknologi sesuai dengan jenis industrinya. Dengan tujuan yang dicapai melalui Total Quality Management merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang berorientasi pada peningkatan kualitas secara terus menerus. Berdasarkan hal tersebut perlu dilakukan analisis terkait komponen-komponen total quality management apa sajakah yang mendukung mutu kualitas produksi dan bagaimanakah penerapannya di industri senjata dan bagaimana mengidentifikasi salah satu komponen total quality management yang berpengaruh terkait peningkatan mutu kualitas terhadap perubahan terjadinya downtime pada produksi klongsong dengan metoda MVSM. Atas dasar ini diajukan model teoritis, analisis kinerja perusahaan, analisis deskriptif dan analisis TQM. Pelaksanaan TQM didasarkan pada fokus pada pelanggan, obsesi terhadap kualitas, pendekatan ilmiah, komitmen jangka panjang, kerjasama tim, perbaikan sistem secara berkesinambungan, pendidikan dan pelatihan, kesatuan tujuan, serta adanya keterlibatan dan pemberdayaan pegawai. Hasil analisis kinerja industri senjata telah menerapkan Total Quality Management dengan optimal dan dalam pengembangan analisis TQM pada Obsesi terhadap Kualitas di produk klongsong pada proses bor lubang api dengan metode MVSM didapatkan eliminasi downtime sebesar ± 1515 jam.
English Abstract
Military weapons industries supporting industries most likely to be developed into a leading center of technology in accordance with the type of industry. With that goal achieved through Total Quality Management is an approach oriented to continuous quality improvement. Based on this analysis needs to be done related to the components of total quality management what are the qualities that support the quality of production and how its application in the arms industry and how to identify one component of total quality management that affect the quality improvement of quality related to changes in the occurrence of downtime in production with the method klongsong MVSM. On the basis of the proposed theoretical model, the analysis of corporate performance, descriptive analysis and analysis of TQM. TQM implementation is based on customer focus, obsession with quality, scientific approach, long-term commitment, teamwork, continuous improvement systems, education and training, unity of purpose, as well as the involvement and empowerment of employees. The results of the analysis of the performance of the weapons industry Total Quality Management has implemented optimally and in the development of TQM analysis on the obsession with product quality in the process klongsong fire drill holes MVSM obtained by the method of elimination of ± 1515 hours of downtime.
